Can type of employment be probationary first 6 months and then permanent?

Shall we write probationary under type of employment in reference letter if we were under probation for 6 months or so? Or not necessary... I was under probation for 6 months as management trainee and then became permanent as Sr. Executive

May i ask a question? Tks

My info as follow:
Comp A: training 1 months
Comp A: full time 1,5 yrs
Comp A: part time current

I only claim points for full time period. My question is: Do I need to include my training period and the current part time period in my reference letter? Thanks.

Do u guys think we should mention the word permanent and probationary in employment reference letter?

Nothing says "Please scrutinize me further because I'm actually tailormade for a Visa Case Officer" like putting the actual NOC in the experience letter. DON'T DO IT.

The idea is that whatever letter you still get out of the companies can be useful in your day-to-day life - adding context-specific information like NOC code, Express Entry Profile number, UCI number (if you know it), does more harm than good and is just a waste of company goodwill trying to get it. Not to mention it'll just arouse suspicion from the legitimacy of the document because really, who gets an experience letter made like that with Canadian immigration specifically in mind?

It'd be different if it was a LOE from the company, attached to a standard reference letter to explain something that wasn't covered in the Reference Letter but the company's policy isn't allowed to actually provide in writing. But otherwise, a definite no-no.

Are you still working at the company? If yes, ideally you'd want to submit a document that was printed less that 3 months ago for "maximum freshness", as it were, because it'll be a while before it gets set in stone.

Are there any other identification marks on it otherwise - like a company seal, address? If not, it would be prudent to get a business card of said director as well as a letter from any other second reference within the organization as a supporting document too, if possible.

yes i am still working with the company..i have another certificate of employment issued by hr but it only contains the basic info..but that one for sure is printed on a company letterhead with address.. however,my director's letter only has the company logo.

Which one of these letters consists of the number of hours, full time/part time and job roles (relevant to your NOC code)? Because then that specific document (whether from your HR department/Director) takes precedence as key evidence.

If it's the director's letter, attach a business card of said director and, if it's not possible for him to submit a fresh letter of the same with a proper company letterhead, you may want to submit a letter of explanation as well as your existing letter from HR too

If all of this is covered in the HR department's letter, then you should be good to go as it's already on the company letterhead and contact information should be easily accessible.

Other more experienced members on this forum could also advise you on the same for more opinions.

the letter from director consists the full time and job description..as for the number of working hours,i will be uploading my contract since that is where it is shown..looks like i will just be asking for his business card then.
HR letter only consists my start date, position and my monthly salary. thanks for your help.

Hi Stanlee,

Please respond to below query.

I worked with TCS for 3 years and resigned on 8 Feb 2016 and with 1 month notice period my last day was 8 March 2016.

During my notice period I requested my HR personnel to issue a roles and responsibilities letter which he denied .So I took on email that TCS does not issue any such letters. After being denied the letter , I requested a colleague/friend on email to mention my roles and responsibilities. He replied to my email mentioning RNR.

I already knew back in 2016 that I will be applying for EE once the CRS points drop and since I was leaving TCS, I wanted to get this letter as it becomes extremely difficult once you leave the organization.

Now I have 2 questions .

1. The email is dated FEB 2016. Will such an old email be fine?

2. The email was sent from my colleague TCS official ID to my TCS email ID. This makes it official or Any notarization needed??

How do we do that? I really want to . BTW how many request should the moderator receive to make it sticky?

My reference letter for my foreign work has 2 pages (is this weird, should it be a 1 page reference letter only)?

My concern is that my supervisor's sign is on page 2 only....do I need to ask my supervisor to sign on page 1 as well and where?
