I'm an American currently 3 months in on a 1 year working holiday visa living in Alberta. I've been applying for Research Assistant/Lab Technician type positions at the local universities and am hopeful that I'll get a job offer soon.
My question is, can I apply for a NAFTA visa before my 1 year work permit expires? Can I apply from within Canada (and not have to leave and then re-enter) to obtain the NAFTA visa?
