If anything given the extreme similarity of the way tim and this person post (starts off with "hello everyone", uses spaces instead of periods, very little capitalization, many spelling errors, multiple posts in a row giving thanks to responders), I'm putting my money on the OP being an forum alt account of tim.uskyoot said:Tim271 has a post on this forum explaining how he married in 2007, received PR in Feb 2011 and is now afraid to go out of the country because his wife is threatening go cancel his PR. Wonder if the two posts are related. Even if not, it gives perspective of the same type of situation from both sides.
Didn't you read the undertaking agreement before you sign it??good234 said:thanks everybody we have been together since 2006 and got maried in 2007 do u think i can still not cancel it becouse this happend after 5 years latter
There are some new rules in the pipeline where the sponsored spouse will get a probationary PR for 2 years and they must still be together for it to be extended to a normal PR. Still hasn't happened though and I am sure they will not make it retroactive for people who already got their PR so once more, there is nothing she can do to revoke the PR of her husband. Besides, it seems they were together for many years so I am sure it was not a marriage of convenience.Aquib said:Whatever story , but one get his PR only because he marry to Canadian PR/citizen .
If he later got problem with his/her spouse then he /she free to finish relationship and should get back to his own country , free to apply for PR on his own merits .
..... I say we all stop responding as this is ridiculous.good234 said:thank you leon what is the new rules
