Don't feed the troll!

Why do you want to cancel your husbands PR? Do you really believe he stayed with you for so many years just to get PR?

Can a moderator lock or delete this thread?

There is absolutely no point to this, as we have already established that the OP cannot have her husband's PR status revoked.

OP, you clearly seem bent on winding folks up...

Thought I'd mention, you replied to the OP :P

But yes I agree, this should be closed.

Yes, this should be locked.

You can't get him banned from Canada or get his PR taken away. The fact that you're mad at him and want to do that out of anger ... well, I'm sure this is why there aren't ways to do that. Just because you're not happy with how a relationship that lasted 5 years or whatever turned out, gives you NO right to turn his life upside down. In this time he has probably made friends and everything and established a life here in Canada. For you to have the power to just take that away from him because you're unhappy that he didn't stay in a bad relationship is just making you look bad. You're hellbent on doing something to spite him for crossing you.... that's just sad. I can say with 80% certainty that I believe he did not take advantage of you considering how long he stayed with you. So he wants to go see his mom to give some time apart? Maybe that will HELP the relationship. Maybe it will give you both time to calm down and then you can come together and talk it out. Stirring trouble up for him with immigration will only hurt you in the end. You should have thought of the possibility that it'd not work out when you made this commitment.

In the end, you're really full of yourself to believe that the government of Canada would ban a individual from a country just because you're not happy with them and you're not in a relationship anymore. It's one of those.... you made your bed, now you lie in it. It's up to you whether you turn this into a positive or a negative. Who's to say you can't work it out. You definitely won't if you try some stunts like that.

And to anyone who automatically assumes he scammed her. Stop. Where is that said? It happens. And as one person said about men scamming women... it happens both ways, don't think a woman doesn't scam a Canadian man. Laws to protect just women would be ridiculous. Either way, no scamming took place... it's a woman scorned and she wants revenge. It's immature, and can't even legally happen so there is no reason to discuss it further.

I do wish you the best in the rest of your life, and hope perhaps you two can come to an understanding that doesn't end in more drama and pain. Good luck.

Please someone lock this thread, thank you.

Review your sponsorship forms.

I think it still applies that if the sponsored person has a criminal past, his PR is in jeopardy. Or if you knew that he is a bad person, Canadian Immigration officiers in his country should be the ones must physically remove his PR Card or papers from his possession. Then he cannot come back to Canada.

But, he might still be in Canada.

Not sure if that is sarcastic or not, BUT, I never go out for 'a beer'...that's just plain mean...I'll go out for 'beers' (plural!)...but I suppose that's the polite way of saying 'let's get drunk and celebrate our reunion with mother Canada' (Russia sounds better, no?)...it's very rarely 'a beer'...

What exactly tickles your fancy about my posts? That they're so enlightening? Full of earthy tones and warmth? They remind you of the crackle of an open fire on Christmas Eve? Please do tell... ;D

Hmm...country music...I'm in the mood for Ryan Adams (that sounds a bit gay, I know)...

FS (dig my consistency with the signing off of the posts?? - you do...I know you do... :P)

FS....Ryan Adams as opposed to Bryan Adams......LOL
