Hi,

Any goods u carry at second landing will be liable for duty (if no goods to follow list)

If u have goods to follow list (u can put any number of qty or value for personal things,electronics, even car also ), u will not be paying any duty

It is better to carry goods to follow list + goods carry list at first landing

You need to get experience letter from pakistan (pls chk with other members on this forum also)

There is no limit for funds to carry but minimum funds as per CIC is must to carry
If u r landing and coming back to home country, u can carry minimum funds required
If u r moving permanently, carry more funds depending upon ur family size

many congrats for the PR cards. About goods to follow list....you mean we should include all items in the list no matter whether we intend to take some of them even at a later stage like on second landing, and this list should be taken along and brought into the notice of immi authorities. And goods carry list will include only those items thaw we take along during first landing ! Did I get it right ! Can we carry a used car without duty !!

Just include whatever u want in the list irrespective of carrying at second landing or third landing. (Such as shampoo, shaving kit, food masalas,etc) which u will find costly here at initial stage.

Yes, u can bring car also without any duty (but consider the shipping cost to bring the car)

I live in Mississauga. I am paying 1425/ month for 1 plus den condo( hwy10 and hillcrest ave.) Hydro is 45-50 approx a month depending upon you usage. If you add up additional costs for internet, phone etc, it will cost around 2000 a month. Cheers

Man that's expensive. I am paying 1450 per month for a 2 BHK (2 bath) condo very near to Shepperd Subway station.
