Best of luck! what stream have you applied in?

Hi,
Family Support. Actually I have sent my first application Oct 9, 2012, after receiving the reply from MPNP that the date of arrival in Manitoba should be the reference which is Sep 6, 2011 , their MB healthcard is dated Dec 1, 2012 , (I have quoted all these dates @ my inquiry. Apparently, I have received an inelligible letter saying that my sponsor did not show proof that they stayed in MB for 1 year. I called MPNP and they advised me to file a new application. so I waited for Dec, hopefully this time will be positive.

How about you?

are you currently in Manitoba?

Nope, I am in Singapore.
How about you?

I am sitting far away in Pakistan :) I am sorry to hijack your thread like this since I probably do not belong here as I ll be applying to Saskatchewan soon (God willing)

I have two options, family stream or skilled worker, based on what I am hearing (faster processing for skilled worker) I ll be opting for that, I am waiting for my job confirmation letter (still in talks) and a couple of educational documents.

I learnt today from this thread that if your application is rejected for some reason, you can re apply within short time ? thats great.

Do you mind sharing what type of job have you scored in Manitoba?

Hi,

I am Pharmacist by Profession from Phils but has been working as a Pharmacy Technician in SG since 2003.
So I chose Pharmacy Technician as my intended jon in MB.

Yes, for the Provincial Nominee Program, once you have addressed the reason why the papers are ineligible for assessment and processing , you can reapply depends on the reasons, mine is pre screened and said to have missing documents.

Excellent! Thank you for your prompt response. Although Sask, and Manitoba programs are different, they still are alike in many ways so I may have a few questions for you in the near future, hope that would be alright?

Best of luck!

Best of luck to you , too. If you have an option of applying in the strategic stream, that would be better, because employer driven application is still the fastest and they are very sure that you will have a job as soon as you arrive in Canada, whereas for the Family support, you need to prove that skills you have should be employable in Canada and should bring funds for you to survive the next 6 months after arrival.

I have been waiting for news from your side in the other thread if your sponsor was already interviewed because I applied (FS-Online) last Oct. 25. You're actually the next-in-line as per the tracking sheet. Anyway, sorry to know about what happenned to your application BUT it is MUCH BETTER to apply now because the backlog is slowly being reversed. As per the tracking sheet, LOA's were being received within 80 days lately. Your's might be within 60 days, if you apply now. GOOD LUCK! ;D
