Relax Juju and keep your fingers crossed. Your LOA hopefully is on its way to you. Normally if the interview went well, the LOA is issued in just a few days. That is, within a week's time. It could have been mailed to you, in your home country, that is why you have not received it. Give it maybe 2 weeks more and I think it will just come unexpected :D

So i might receive it through mail ? I cannot remember that i have provided my home country address on my online application thought that it would be through email only. I am just worried, my work contract here in Dubai will be until June 2013 im not taking any option of renewing it... again thanks carl,, ill update this thread if anything came up within this week, i hope that the processing time will be in our favor.

Yes the LOA will be sent by mail, either to you or to your sponsor/relative. It is an official document and it is never sent via email. Good luck!

Candidates who have received their LOA may please share that

Is NOC (National Occupational Classification) code of applicant is mentioned on ur LOA or not.....?

Hello All: Will like to know your view with respect to IELTS result that is older than 2 years when one is submitting to CIO in Nova Scotia. Will this have any impact since it was still valid when one applied for nomination and also I want to believe that the documents submitted for nomination will be forwarded to the visa office that will process the PR application.

Your opinion will be appreciated.

ASAP help:

You don't need to specify where a foreign draft is payable at, since the beneficiary can present it in any country of it choice where the account is domicile. But if your bank insist that you provide why it is payable you may want to just say CANADA to be on a safer side.

I am waiting for my LOA and i feel that something is wrong , its more than a month already, other in laws relative
< 4 others > received their LOA's they are from Philippines while im in Dubai and not got any , on my online application i provided my resident address which is i usually not submit nor provide to anyone , but because i want my application to Canada will be discreet from my company that is why i have not provided my company address . Have checked with post office that if the address provided is without PO BOX it will be back to sender . Now my question can i update the mailing address online ?

Thanks
Juju

Hi,
Yes you can update your address online if you applied online, just log in? Otherwise you can email the office in Winnipeg with your file number and request your address to be changed. Hope this helps.

Regards

Andrew

Hi there. I don't think there will be a problem with your IELTS if it was still valid when you submitted it to MPNP. You are not required to submit IELTS in your PRV application to CIO-NS.

I have not read anything about MPNP forwarding documents to visa offices. But it does not mean that they do not. Canadian government agencies can always share information amongst themselves if they want to, especially when it comes to immigration matters.

Hope this helps!

No problem with hand written forms. Just make sure they are legible. It is true that some forms are fillable while others are not.

Good luck!

If you read the payment form carefully you will see that it says "Pay by certified check, bank draft or money order payable to THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA."

"In favor of" means the same as "Payable to"

Hope this helps!

Thanks Carl Zeiss. What I will do is to include the IELTS result as requested for in the checklist (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf ) when am submitting.
