Thanks for your reply.

When did you pass your application? did you receive an AOR already?
I already emailed the program but they have the most vague answer. They just told me that they MIGHT ask for an IELTS.
For settlement funds. They just quote the section that says if my brother can't meet the required funds i can sign the MAS Part 2 but he still have to show some liquid funds in his name. No specific amount given.

I can't believe ganito na ka higpit ngayon. Di pa namn ako sobrang tagal dito. Before I already got my Visa in 11 mos time. No hassle whatsoever. Pera ko sa bank that time 12k pesos lang :)

Hi Bessy,

BETTER IF YOUR BROTHER WOULD TAKE THE EILTS EXAM.....In the case of my cousin, CANADA REALLY REQUIRED THEM TO TAKE.....
We're fortunate that in our time, they approved the Certificate from our University. Our plan before, take the EILTS if they told us to do so.
BUT, PAKUHANIN MO NA SYA HABANG MAAGA, NO HARM IN DOING SO. Kasi yung cousin ko nahuli sa sched, so hindi sya nakakuha ng Exam, so they are going to RE-APPLY ( and wait again ).

Here's out timeline:

Nov. 03, 2009 - application
Jan. 19, 2010 - AOR
April 19, 2010 - Submit additional docs
May 10, 2010 - They called our sponsor
June 07, 2010 - LOA
July 14, 2010 - Submit docs and payment to Makati Embassy ( CEM 1 )
Aug. 12, 2010 - AOR
Oct. 04, 2010 - Submit additional docs and RPRF payment to Makati Embassy ( CEM 2 )

NOW WE'RE WAITING FOR OUR MEDICAL REQUEST......

hello everyone,

guys need ko sana advise nyo, tungkol po ito sa proof of funds plano ko kasi mag pasa na nang papers ko true MPNP family support stream kaso may nabasa ako hindi na daw acceptable yong real estates as one or part of the POF how true is this? kung totoo man to, hingi ako advise kung i push trough ko pa application ko kasi yong cash ko sa bank only 250T pesos pwede po ba mag sign nalang ko sponsor ko w/c is my cousin nang affidavit of financial support since under family stream naman yong category ko.hindi po ba risk yong gagawin ko. ako lng pala mag isa sa application ko since im still single.pls need your advise. thnks a lot Godbless

Hi Stuart,

i have no idea dun sa new guidelines about real estate declarations. pero eto ang alam ko: if the amount that you (applicant) have in the bank (savings, time deposit, etc.) will not meet the required show money value, the signed MAS Form by your relative is enough to cover yung kulang. On the part of the relative naman na magsa-sign, they would need to show financial proof that they have enough "ipon and resource" to ensure that they can cover for the expenses nung isusupport.

Sa experience ko, the liquid asset i have in the bank was even lower than what you have when I sent the MPNP application. Napraning pa nga ako kaya even after naipasa ko na MPNP application, I continued building up my savings. Nonsense na din naman since nung nakareceive ako ng LOA, hindi naman na humingi ulit ang canadian embassy manila ng updated proof of financial records in my name. The MAS Form that my tita signed was OK na, I got approved. And since single ka naman, you would not need that much money for as long as supported ka ng mga relatives mo sa Canada.

hi! we submitted our application last july, under family stream. Yung husband ko yung principal applicant, pero di na siya nag take ng IELTS. We just secured a certification from our respective universities. Naka receive na kami ng AOR, so sana di na sila magrequire ng IELTS... we're praying for LOA na... :)

Hi there,
Kelan ka po nag apply? They said the rule for settlement fund was changed recently lang. Problem ko talaga yan para sa brother ko, kahit here ako sa Canada i can't come up with that amount in a snap at ayaw ko mangutang .

@gingerific

thanks a lot for your reply. it helps me a lot. pero po may follow up question sana ako. yong sinabi mong dapat mag show din nang proof of funds yong pinsan ko sa canada kasi nga kulang yong POF ko so mag sign yong pinsan ko nag affidavit of financial support, dapat din bang mag submit siya nang documents showing na may funds din yong pinsan ko sa canada or tawagan siya sa manitoba immigration about my cousin fund? pls enlighten me more. thanks again

@ Stuart

I don't want to discourage u kasi problema ko rin 'to about my Brother's application. Finally the Nominee Program replied. Here it is.

From: +WPG574 - Immigratemanitoba (LIM) [mailto:immigratemanitoba @ gov.mb.ca]
Sent: December-2-10 9:55 AM

With respect to your inquiry, if you signing the MAS part 2 (no specific amount), the principal applicant must still provide proof of liquid funds of CAD 10,000 under his own name.

Sincerely,

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

Eto step-by-step

1. Punta sa counter kuha ng forms
2. Fill up ng sangkatutak na forms at ipaste ang mga pictures, i sign na rin ang pictures
3. Punta sa table 2 para ma assess ang forms, bibigyan ka ng ID at checklist
4. Hintayin tawagin para magbayad
P4,000 15-above
P2,000 11-14yrs old
P1,750 11 below
5. Eye checkup, weight, height
6. Interview ng doc, undress para ma checkup ( CPE )
7. Xray
8. Urine at Blood
9. Tatawagin ka sa table 3 kung ok na tapos uwi ka na
