They are suppose to provide an acknowledgement to your sponsor, or there usually is an automated response if sent by email.
Give it some time, if not you can inquire later why there hasn't been any acknowledgement. Some people in the thread have mentioned that they haven't received any acknowledgement. So, it maybe quite normal not to receive any.

my NOC requires a IELTS as per MPNP immigration office. I have submitted my online application and I have received a file number.

I am very happy to retake IELTS and can provide a score by November'2013. Will it be eligible for consideration as part of my current MPNP application?

If it is not then can I reapply within 3 months?

Hi thomasuk,

I haven't had any experience on this, but I have read threads that they can submit IELTS application when they have it ready even without being asked yet to submit them. If you are willing to retake an examination and you get a better score, I think you can also submit it via email, just make sure that the scanned copies has your file number printed on it (it's possible via pdf).

As long as no decision has been made, I think it should be eligible. But, better as other forumers with experience on this. Just to make sure.

What do you mean by re-applying within three months? Is this about not getting the score you need for the IELTS examination?

If I get refuse to process my application due to IELTS scores, can I reapply within 3 months?

As I do believe all my paper works are very strong and it would be a minor mistake to refuse my application due to to latest IELTS scores.

Ok, I understand now what you meant by re-applying.

In my own experience, I had to wait 6 months before re-applying. I have no idea if they have changed that policy as that first application was in 2010.

i just read this thread a while ago. ..this is what i can share.

IELTS requirement should be within the overall band score of 5.0 . If you have at least one criteria ( Listening, reading, writing, speaking) which is lower than 5.0, then you need to re-take the exam.

I heard that for Skilled Workers it should be overall band score of 7.0??

Now, you are saying that you have submitted online and already got your file number. since taking IELTS doesnt have any limits, meaning you can take IELTS as many as you can, the higher the over all band score you got , the better for you to submit to MPNP. MPNP do not ask how many times you take the exam.

My experience is completely different from you case, I have not taken any IELTS accreditation during my first application since I used to go to different Asian countries to conduct factory audits. Still, MPNP asked me to provide IELTS. I didnt follow thats why they rejected my application. Afer 6 months, I learned my lesson, I 've made my certification and got overall band score of 6.5 , the rest is history.

I hope you get some sense from what I have shared.

Okay, let me see if it did make sense to me. You are asking me that because I had been applying since 2010, and re-applying, I must have been taking IELTS examinations repeatedly for MPNP requirements?

I honestly cannot answer IELTS requirement questions. I never took them. I studied in UK, I first had a preparatory certificate (2005) which I was fast-tracked from 1 year to six months only. Then I started my actual degree in (2006-2009). I did a post-graduate degree (2010-2012). All this from the same university in UK.

I never submitted an IELTS examination to MPNP. I only showed them my UK education.

Hi ask LNG po Kasi po nag submit po Ako ng application ko online with complete documents Nung may 30, 2013 tpos the next day nakarecvd po Ako ng mpnp file no. Na submit na din po settlement 2. Tpos until now wala pa din po me narcvd na email, mail or tawag if na approved na po application ko...saan po kaya pwede ko macheck if ok ung application ko. Tnx

you have no other choice but to wait for your sponsors (possibly you also ) interview, then wait for LOA. better ask to be included in one of the Tracking sheets here iin this forum so you will be able to know the timeline experiences of your co-forumers. be patient in waiting. best of luck
