Hello everyone, good day!
Question:
My friend has agreed to become my 'connection/supporter' in Manitoba - but she says her brother will be applying this year to Manitoba via MPNP too and she will be the 'connection/supporter'. Will this be a problem?
Are they allowed to sponsor 1 friend & 1 close relative?

I am hoping for your reply.

Hi my idea on this is If the connection/supporter will sponsor a friend she is not allowed to sponsor another person, only one. But if she will sponsor a relative she can sponsor more than one person..

So if my friend will sponsor me, she will not be able to sponsor her brother? Is that right? :-[

Got a new LAA on 10th February 2016 after my application was deemed incomplete and completed a new EOI. Yet to submit my application as I am expecting my supporters birth cert

Please my fellow applicant, who can help me with this situation: what doc do I submit to prove the relationship with my Manitoba cousin( he's the son of my father's sister)?
I think his birth cert, his mother's birth cert, my father's birth and mine should be enough. I really don't want this second application to be term " incomplete for assessment" due to lack of proof. Last time I only uploaded my father's birth cert.
I will really appreciate your assistance@all

Hi Guys ,

A quick question for your clarification. I'm a dedicated member of this group, even though I prefer to read and occasionally comment. I submitted my application on the 23rd of July, 2015 and got my LOA on the 30th of Dec, 2015. My IELTS expired on the 7th of Dec,2015. MPNP, said I should write another IELTS exam before submitting to CIC. My question is, since i've got my LOA already, do I really need to write another IELTS exam? If yes, what should be my expected score for each band in Speaking, Reading, Writing and listening? Any idea?

Regards
Collins.

Hi Chukky,

Congrats for getting second chance. Your assumption is right. You need to upload your birth certificate, your father's birth certificate.your cousin's birth certificate and your aunt's birth certificate. Your father and your aunt's certificate should show their father's name exactly same. also provide a short note during uploading those docs stating that , the supporter is your first cousin. Here is a link that may help you -

Hi Collins,
As you stated MPNP said, was it in a written form in email? I do not have a broad idea about this IELTS expiration cases, but as you said "MPNP said", If I were in your position I would have definitely sit for another IELTS exam. As you will proceed to CIC with a nomination certificate from MPNP, hence your ielts score should be at the acceptable level for MPNP. You can find details of MPNP IELTS requirement here :

(Please check Language proficiency section)

Additionally, you can also check below link which talks about success of new immigrants in Manitoba -

Collins,

May we know about your timeline of MPNP application?
