Hi Kaladhar, Wanted to know if you have applied for PNP LOA or to CIC? As you have mentioned you have done upfront medicals not sure for which one?
Hi, I have applied for the MPNP and currently waiting to receive my LOA.
But I have opted to do a Upfront medical exam for CIC process (Step 2), so that I can save some time with the processing when I send in the application packet to CIC. Hope its clear now..

kindly please update my status from DEC 03 2014 ASSESEMENT COMPLETE.

i am in winnipeg, canada. so from now how long does it take to get LOA by mail at door?

i hope all the candidate who are waiting eagerly for their turn god will bless everyone and you will get your LOA very soon.
If you are already in Manitoba and have that address as your mailing address then you can expect to get it as soon as today and at the latest at the end of next week.

Congratulations!

Hello Mbgirlfriend!

I agree with your observations.... and I'm happy the way your bf's application is moving!

Is you BF already in MB or still out of MB? Anyway, I pray that you will be reunited in MB very soon... GOD bless!
He has been living in Winnipeg for a year and a half. He came here on a IEC visa and got the 6 months work experience he needed to apply to MPNP while waiting for his MPNP nomination he was able to get another IEC visa. He got his MPNP nomination with enough time that he can now get a WP with his MPNP nomination and a letter from his employer while he waits for his PR. The timing work out for us perfectly because IEC visas can not benefit from Implied Status so he needed to get the PNP nomination to get a new WP before his IEC expired.

He will be applying for the new WP very soon. Our main concern right now is getting all to documents and forms filled out right for his PR application that we hope to courier to CIC before the end of December. We are waiting for his Criminal Record check and the Pics of his Parents and Sister that are currently in the mail. With the holidays slowing down mail service we expect to get those things in the next 2 weeks (hopefully before the 19th). Then because of the holidays if we send it with a courier on the 22nd the courier told us the documents would reach their destination on the 29th or 30th.

Then the wait begins again. This is going to be the hardest part for him. He is very home sick and we would like to take a trip to visit his family and friends but it is hard for us to ask for time off work and plan a vacation when we have no idea when they will request his passport. From what I understand they only give you about a month to submit it once they ask for it and they can have it for as long as a month. We would both have to submit vacation requests about 6 weeks before we wanted time off and once they are approved it would be hard to change the dates. So if they requested the passport right after our vacation was approved it would be hard to know if we would defiantly get his passport back on time to travel. With all the changes to the CIC with the new EE about to launch its hard to know how this will impact the processing times of PNP nominees. So, even looking at other peoples time lines in similar situations last year may not even be close to how things will go next year.

Cool, looks like you are really proactive. ;D

For upfront medical exam what did you give as your UCI number? I tried to get upfront medical exam but they asked for AOR Number or UCI number. I wasn't sure if my UCI number is going to remain same so didn't take the risk.

Thanks. The Panel physician has only asked me for my study permit and my passport.

The way it works is that when I applied for my upfront exam, the doc created a UMI (Unique Member Identification) number for my case and the test results would be sent to CIC directly. Now when I send in my application packet to CIC, I will have to include the tracking sheet given to me by the doctor (which contains the UMI) in my packet, so they can retrieve and access my test results..

Hope it makes sense :)

Thanx druce for ur reply......

I havent check my status last couple of weeks so i dont know when actually it change.
If u can plz tell me if they requested any docs then how much time they give to provide that.
I dont know the answer to this question. I do know that the MPNP Processing is fair and will give you enough time to get everything they asked for. Wait it out for a couple of weeks and if you dont hear anything send them a e-mail and ask them whats going on.

mpnp files who has been applied before july 2014 will be affected by new xpress entry program or not??
The only way it will affect you is:

Express entry will create a NEW stream for some of the applicants that would have usually have gone through the normal CIC process.
This means there will be a decrease in normal CIC applications wich will ensure faster processing times for normal applicants.

This is my opinion of what I have read about the program. Please correct me if I have the wrong idea about the program.

I hope they wont left out the FS. Thanks

Are you in Winnipeg? And which hospital did you go to get the medicals done? Will try to contact them and get it done.

Yes I am.
It's more like a clinic and Dr.Martin Fogel is one of the two assigned panel physicians here in Winnipeg.
Please call him first before you go (make an appointment) and make a list of all the documents that he wants from you.
Take $260CAD in cash for the Blood test, X-ray, Doc's fees, etc

P.S: Speaking of medical exams, I am not sure at what stage you are currently at. Have you already submitted your PR application to CIC? If you have done so, I think it would be a good idea for you to wait for them to contact you instead of you doing the test and sending it to them. Since the timing is very close I don't see the need to do a upfront medicals in your case. That's my thought but if you would like to go ahead, please do so. Good luck!

Hi Goldy, don't worry... just think positively always coz GOD is GOOD all the time! Just do your best and GOD will do the rest!

In fact... it's in the news...

http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/business/skills-fast-track-begins-next-year-284847761.html

Manitoba could be getting an extra 500 highly skilled workers in 2015 thanks to the federal government's Express Entry program starting in the new year.

The province has been allocated a maximum of 500 potential immigrants to endorse from the national Express Entry pool.
That 500 is separate from, and in addition to, the allocation of 5,000 total nominations Citizenship and Immigration has provided to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for the year.
