thank you. another question please. when it comes to financial, do i have to submit proof upon submission that i have ALL the funds required? i have 3 dependents so it will be 16,000 CAD, but i do not have the full amount YET. I will definitely meet the fund requirement upon receiving my separation pay, sale of properties etc.. thanks again..

Just my opinion here...

1. If you can wait till you have the minimum amount requirement in your bank for more than 6 months then for me it'll be perfect!

2. However, if you really want to lodge your application ASAP, then as long as your Total Assets is more than 16K CAD, I think you have the chance. Total Assets = Real Property + Bank Funds + other liquid funds + other assets

But if I were you, to be safe, I'll go for my option 1!

I applied through a consultation firm (Canadian Provincial Nominee and Immigration Services) here in the Philippines. They are the ones who submitted all my documents at the government. then I received my file number last October and paid USD2,180 for further processing of my visa.

here is the login page to the MPNP account --- sorry not allowed to post links, but you can google MPNP login page then click on the apply now tab. my friend also used an agency for his MPNP application, though it is clearly stated in the cic website that it is not necessary nor it does it guarantee speedy processing. not sure if the amount you paid is their fee for their services but my friend relayed to me he paid 75,000 pesos for the service. at this point, your agency should already have the login details to the mpnp account and you can get it from them. just my opinion.

You only need to hand in your MPNP application online. Courier is for stage 2 (once you're approved) ...

I'm just wondering how to go about in canceling a bank document, which I submitted online. Actually, I just borrowed the money from a friend and she needs to use the money na. However naupload ko na docs online nung Jan 2014 and when I totaled my funds (some liquid, etc), it's more than 10k CAD excluding the "bank cert" from my friend's money. Any thoughts on this? I'm just worried on the impact of canceling a submitted doc on my application. I appreciate your reply...

Situation is, I have an Aunt who will be sponsoring my Application under family support stream, I have been working Full time for the past 4 years, but I did not finish my college. My common-law partner is also working for 4 years now and she finished her college with Bachelor's degree.
My aunt is willing to sponsor us, but we couldn't decide on who will be the Principal applicant is.
Need help. Is it going to be advantage if I am the principal applicant since it's my relative by blood? or my partner, with her education status?
If my partner will be more likely to be the principal applicant, will she be eligible to apply under family support stream?
Need to decide before taking IELTS next month.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Andrez747, online application ONLY. I haven't seen any instruction from MPNP website to send the application/documents via courier.

Hi Andrez, as per MPNP website, the principal applicant must submit a financial history including 6 months bank statement.

Therefore, they require your updated or last 6 months' bank statement.

Hello Josefa, just wanna clarify with you if: after uploading your documents, did you already click submit? Coz even if its already uploaded but not yet submitted, you can still change/delete/update the documents that you have uploaded before submitting your application.

However, if your application was already submitted, then as far as I know, they will request for an updated bank statement soon, so when that time comes, that would be your opportunity to send them what you have and in that sense, you don't need to cancel the already uploaded & submitted bank document. Just wait when they will request you to submit the updated bank statement. And as you have mentioned with/without the money you borrowed from a friend you have more than 10K CAD in you account, which is the minimum funds require for a single applicant. Please note that its always +2K CAD per dependent (spouse + child/ren).

Hi Epoy!

My suggestion is: let your partner/spouse apply as the principal applicant because of her education.

As you know MPNP requires a completed post secondary education otherwise under Factor 4: Education you will most likely get 0 point for No formal post-secondary education.

Anyhow, under the law, your aunt will be her aunt too. Then she will be applying under family stream as well.
