Finally! My sponsor was interviewed last May 28..Here is my timeline
Application submitted: November 2013
SP2: November 29, 2013
Assessment pending: August 2014
Sponsors interview: May 28, 2015
Assessment process: May 30, 2015
LOA: waiting

I am dec2013 GS applicant.yesterday i checked that my status is assessment complete.I dont know what would be the outcome but i want to ask a question to all forum mates that my IELTS has been expired last month, now If I recieve LOA, then to apply for cic should i go through another IELTS test or it ok if I send them old one??
and please update me how much time it will take to recieve letter after dicision make.

Friend dont worry mine was the same came i got the XEP number so carry on with old one . After sending the file to cio i have taken the exam and result also in hand but till now they havent ask the updated ielts and they accepted the file as complete with the old expired IELTS certificate

Hi Jack12,

Congrats!! I think you don't need to retake IELTS as the CIC will assess your file based on the rules existed on the time of your application to MPNP. Could you please share the exact date of your sponsor's interview and your application to MPNP.

I had applied in last week of dec2013 online and sp2after4 days and my sponsor got interview call in the first week of may 2015.

my file status change assessment pending to assessment in progress on 05/27/2015 and then it change back again assessment in progress to assessment pending on 05/31/2015.
i do not know what to do.

And if anybody knows aprox how long does it takes?

Hi, some body give me some hope or give me some idea about what to do. When I apply for MPNP it was 2012 [LOA] and completed medical on Sept 2014. Till then nothing update. MY GCMS report says Security status is still pending. Now I am 40 and not interested to go to Canada for retirement or social.

This is odd. Has anyone else had a situation like this? Well, at least you know that "touched" you case, even if it was only for 5 odd days :-[

it is depends on the officer how they can assess our application. in my case interview completed on feb 2015 but still waiting......

Have you tried to ask CIC if there´s any problem or what is going on?
