I applied for my brother in Dec 2013 and in March 2015 his status changed to assessment pending but after that nothing happens.Any idea how long it will take to get interview call ?

Congratulations my friend, you will receive LOA within the next couple of weeks! Is your mailing address in your country or in Manitoba? When did your ststus change to pending and how long after that did they do the interview?

You too should try to inform us when you receive your LOA.

Thanks! I used my sponsor's address in Manitoba. It has been Assessment pending since Oct of 2013 I think and changed to Assessment in Process just this May 27, 2015 same day as my sponsor got interviewed. This morning, when I checked it's Assessment Complete.

Acording to mpnp web site, it doesn´t matter if you are nominated or not, your status will change because they already took a desicion.

well most of the applicants with an Assessment Complete status receives LOA so i think you have a big chance of getting it. Just believe! Your LOA is on the way! Congratulations!

This is true. But if your application is declined they usually send an e-mail stating the reason within a week or so. If it is approved they will post you the LOA. Depending on what you made your postal address the time frame may vary. This is why I always encourage everyone to change their postal address to that of their supporters in Manitoba. They can in turn courier it to you and save time. Hope this helps.

Congrats to those with updates, Clarence, welcome back. It's nice to hear from you again.

Just want to update. We just recently attended a seminar conducted by CIIP. If there happens to have a Canadian orientation seminar
by CIIP or IOM in your country, don't hesitate to attend because they are very informative and will be a big help especially in careers.

CIIP focuses on providing assistance to our employments - pre-arrival, arrival and post arrival, challenges/obstacles to face and how to face such challenges. they also provide links where we can ask for assistance whether we are still in our countries or already in Canada.

I suggest, when you already have your MRs you attend the seminar to give ample time for preparation.
