Hello pndrana. From your timeline I see your supporter got interviewed
In February and till date no decision? My supporter got interviewed since March 10
and still no decision made application still in process . Is this delay in reaching decision after interview common ?

Anybody knows how many times can a manitoba supporter sponsor an application? Is there a limit in sponsoring ang applicant specifically in General Stream? Or can sponsor as many as he/she can?

An mpnp supporter can support one application for the GS but can support two applications for FS if as a couple .

I received my file number last June 2013,applied via paper application GS, its been 22 months and still waiting.No update yet. Can't check my status.
Don't have AOR (acknowledgement of receipt) , is it needed? If they have given the file number, it means that they already received the application

I think your AOR is the mail sent to you after Submitting your application it is in this mail that your file number is given. Someone should correct me if am wrong!

I have already got LOA from Manitoba and further I have also applied residency with CIC and received my AOR. Everything is so slow with my case and leads to high level of stress. My case office is sydney Australia whose processing timeline has just increased to 28 months from 13 months. which has demotivated me.Also its over 1 month and I have not received any Medical request and also I don't see any chances of getting it in near future . so my question to you is
Can we apply for Express Entry as our file is already with CIC or I should stick to my same file ?
I will be very thank ful for your valuable answer.

Aor (temporary number) means file number

Your file number is your AOR. Go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp and check your application status there. You should urgently send case specific enquiry to CIC. It is unusual that you got no update in 22 months.
