Your file number is your AOR. Go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp and check your application status there. You should urgently send case specific enquiry to CIC. It is unusual that you got no update in 22 months.

Can't check my status in the link that you gave. Is File Number same with Immigration File Number/Application Number? My file number consists of 2 letters and 10 digits.
In the Immigration File Number/Application Number it says , it contains 1 letter and 9 digits, It doesn't match with my file number. What will I do?
Can I really check my application status in that link?

Dear write an email to cic. They will be able to help you. Are you sure you applied for PR? i think you applied for PNP.

Hi Guys,
I hope someone can answer my question. I am not expecting a perfect answer but just an idea. The MPNP is going to start accepting applications on April 30 can you tell how fast the cap of 5000 applications going to filled? I know that's a stupid question but some experienced guys can give me any idea about it i guess? Thanks so much

Yes under MPNP, where in particular will I send my email to CIC? Do they have a copy of my application?

If u have apllied for mpnp nomination then u can only check ur status from mpnp site not the cic...

Go to MPNP website . There you can check your file status with the file number you have.

First of all congrats mate dont worry u will get medical request soon, i have applied on 20th Nov 2013 GS stream from india and assessment pending since 9th July 2014 and since then nothing is moving for me... Did u applied from canada or out side canada and ur occupation please...
