I can't remember the exact date.. I just remember the month which was April 2013. I have not yet submitted my application to CIC.. Still waiting for my NBI clearance because I was "HIT".. I will just inform you if I finished all the needed documents..

Actually, I suggest the address of your sponsor as the CONTACT ADDRESS section.

You can put the Philippine address if you prefer on the PERMANENT ADDRESS section.

Do we need to include also the Birth Certificate of our sponsor and my father-in-law on our documents as a proof of connection? My husband is the principal applicant and his aunt is our sponsor.

Yes, make sure that you have shown the birth certificates to show the relation. For instance, if your husband's aunt is a maternal aunt, then you would need the following:

(1) Your husband's BC
(2) His aunt's BC
(3) Your husband's mother's BC to show that his mother and his aunt have the same parent.

Don't lose hope as it is always man proposes God disposes .May Allah have a bright future for you in one way or the other.

I have the same case like yours.My real brother along with dozen family members reside in Ontario and the officer asked roughly 10 questions about them.
It makes me nervous a bit but there is nothing much in my control.Interview took place so late already and now this waiting. Let's see which way the wind blows.
