Hi All…in anticipation of the LOA and subsequently CIC application, I’d like to know your thoughts about the passport renewal of my daughter. Hers will be due on Apr 2013, so we would like to have it renew this December/January timeframe. But my question is…should I need to send her updated passport to MPNP if we decide to have it renewed early next year?

I fret that this may affect the progress of our LOA…

You're right, honey08, never give up on dreams! Have faith that whatever you prayed for has been answered and will be given to you as per His schedule ;)

Hi! I just want to ask some questions. Is there an expiration date for LOA? What is the deadline for the submission of requirements to CIO - CIC once you received your LOA? Thank you. :)

Yes, there's a due date. You should apply to CIC before the expiry date stated on your LOA, I believe it's 90days starting from the issued date of your LOA :)

Hello:)

In my LOA it stated that I should apply for permanent resident visa not more than 6 month from the time the LOA was given.
LOA date: Oct 30, 2012
Application must reach CIC by April 30, 2013

Just a suggestion, you may renew her passport now while waiting for your LOA. That's what we did, thinking that it may cause delay if we update them of our new passports during the process. Might as well renew it now, before submitting your application to CIC/CIO.

Let's wait for others to answer.

Hi tweety05, thanks for the suggestion...I guess we'll go ahead to renew her passport next month :)

Dear Friends,

I am a dentist and want to apply under MPNP program under General stream.
I request all the members to help me in understanding the MPNP program better.

I want to know whether my profession (Dentist NOC category 3113), which is regulated and require license to practice in Manitoba, is eligible for MPNP program? I mean since it will take at least 3 years before I can start working as Dentist in Canada, as I will have to pass the required exams and attend the university for 2 years .Are there any chances that my nomination is not approved by Manitoba authorities?

I look forward to hear from you soon ,

Best Regards

Hi again! I just like to ask also what is the due date for SP2 once receiving the reply from MPNP to submit addtl docs? Thanks so much. :)

hi cmj,

It's 30 days upon receipt of the email from MPNP to your sponsor.

Hi kings80, you probably missed the replies from tweety05 and simplex regarding your concerns...please refer to page 150 (# 2238 and 2239).
Don't worry about your profession, as long as you pass the eligibility under GS and have the intention to settle in Manitoba permanently, you should be OK...so start preparing all your supporting docs (and don't forget your IELTS) and send in your application..if you have further questions along the way, forum members are here to answer queries to the best of our knowledge.
