Good Day everyone,
I am preparing to apply for MPNP by the end of this month and have a question to ask. My parents live in Winnipeg who are going to be my sponsor, however, I have one brother who lives in Ontario. While filling MPNP application I have to indicate the names of all relatives living in Canada. Does anyone know if this can effect my case result or anyone have any of this kind of situation with favourable results.
Thanks
Masood

Hello everyone. I got a letter of confirmation dated september 19, 2012 last october 5,2012 with my file#.
I Just would like to ask, anybody here who received the same letter that states "THis letter serves as confirmation that your application has been received by our office and will be reviewed....." Is this what we call AOR? In your case, did they ask already additional documents to be submitted tru this letter or I have to wait for another letter asking me to submit additional requirements later on. Please enlighten. I'm a little bit confused. thanks

Hello :)

Definitely, it is your AOR. Once you receive this letter, additional documents should be stated. If none, then your application is considered complete and ready to be assessed. But they may still ask for other documents while they are processing your application which in most cases they don't anymore.

Congratulations and please keep us posted.

Hello friends, my relative in canada has signed for 2 people as their supporter, can he sign for someone else.

Hello :)

You mean, if your relative can sign again to be a sponsor for the 3rd time?

If yes, actually there is no indication/official statement from MPNP on how many applications can a sponsor from Canada may support. But there are news that now, it is not allowed anymore. The sponsor should wait for the sponsored applicant to arrive in Canada as PR. Waiting for a year to let them settle first before the sponsor can sign for sponsorship again. This is what members are saying as other applicants are receiving refusals because of multiple sponsorship.

Let's wait for other members to comment and state their opinions or if they know any update/s about this matter

Hello :)

In my application, when I requested for bank certificate from the financial institution, I asked them to indicate MPNP and its address to the addressee and address parts, respectively.

Hello :)

In my opinion, it is better for you to declare your brother since their is a part/form where you will indicate all your brothers and sisters and their addresses. It may affect your application in a way that you maybe interviewed to prove them that you will not transfer to other province especially in Ontario because your brother is residing there.

Others may suggest you not to declare it anymore since it may or will affect your application and I totally respect it. You may also do so, but be sure if ever the MPNP Officer assessing your application finds out the truth, you have reasons to convince him why you didn't mention it in your application since your brother is a close relative.

My wife just started to work at primary school this week. What certificate from company are you talking about.

I believe that I already answered your question from my previous post to you.

It is always better to submit IELTS but it is not required for dependants. Certification of English language ability from workplace and school will suffice.

You may also wait for other members post to answer your query especially those who recently submitted their application under Family Stream.

God bless.

My sponsor interview was dated 19th Sept 2012 & the LOA was dated 30th Sept 2012. I applied directly from Winnipeg, MPNP

Tweety05 thank you.

i suggest u to just wait for 15 days...after that ask ur sponsor to mail the following docs.....they mail the following matter to ur sponsor:-

Download the form Settlement Plan - Part 2.
http://www2.immigratemanitoba.com/asset_library/en/pn/mpnp-settlement-plan-part-2.pdf

Print and complete Settlement Plan - Part 2, then submit it to the MPNP within 30 days of receipt of this message.

You must include the following supporting documents:

proof of your Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status (copy of your citizenship card, permanent resident card or Canadian passport)
proof of Manitoba residence for at least one year (copies of both sides of your Manitoba Health Card)
proof of relationship to the applicant (birth and marriage certificates demonstrating close relationship)
We prefer that you scan your completed and signed Settlement Plan - Part 2 and your supporting documents and send them as attachments in an e-mail to mpnpsupporter@gov.mb.ca.

in the mean time keep ready these documents...
