Im just about to submit all our documents to the Intake office in Nova Scotia. What I dont understand is how do I pay for the application fees.?

You can send through Bank Draft. But be sure it should be in Canadian Dollars, most of the banks make it in own currency equivalent to Canadia dollar that is not acceptable. Make sure it should be in Canadian Dollars.

You can practice IELTS online. Just type IELTS in google, and there are so many forms of exams in Reading, Listening and Writing as well. My cousin got average of 8 recently, and I got 7.5 average, it's not that hard as we think, you just need to practice before the exam.

Are you applying under general stream?

I just want to share that process is somehow confusing, some in the forum says we don't need to pay application fees at the moment since we're applying for nomination not for immigration yet.

Based on your question, I believe you followed the left (blue path) in the diagram below which requires an IMM 5690 checklist (4pages).

I Submitted my application on 15 Nov 2011
I got my AOR on 1 March 2012
I got my nomination on 26 Jun 2012.
So it is all good. It really takes approximately 6 to 7 months to get your nomination for the General stream.
Do not lose hope.

Congrats Dominicanish! Did the MPNP called you and your sponsors for interview? Got my AOR dated May 30, 2012, hope to get my LOA July or August. Good luck to everyone here

Is it okay that i will deposit them this day and get the bank cert next week? Or it must be longer?

IELTS Request : April 26, 2012
Submitted IELTS Request : June 26, 2012 (scanned) - MPNP Replied via e-mail that they received the scanned copy.
also submitted notarized copy by FedEx just in case they ask for it.

Would the next step would be to wait for my sponsor's interview and then probably LOA?

Hi Since you need to provide not only bank certificate indicating the amount of money you have on your account, you also need to provide bank history for the last three months. It only means that you should have your account at least three months ago.

If you are asking about how long should the 10,000 CAD be maintained in your account before you can request for bank cert, in my own experience, I have my account since 2008 but when I completed the required settlement fund even if it is less than 3 months, I requested for a bank certificate. I also attached the bank history for the last 3 months.

Luckily, I got my AOR after 119 days and they didn't ask for an update of my bank account. Hopefully, they will not ask for it anymore.

The decision is really yours. I just thought before that they didn't mention it in the MPNP website that the required settlement fund should be maintained for three month before requesting the bank cert. But if you want to be safe, you can wait for 3 months after completing the 10,000 CAD before you ask for it.

Everstranger is right, you can self review online. You can also search in youtube. It really helped me a lot especially in my Writing and Speaking module because they are giving tips. For Listening and Reading, you have to practice using IELTS book with CDs.
