Hi creamy_on_top: your application is very strange...i really do believed now that assessment of application is really depends on the immigration officer...coz our experience, is the we also received AOR letter with MB File Number asking for IELTS result only. They (MPNP) did not return any document to us. My question to you is: 1. Did your check list still the old version?...and 2. Did you use the new "Generic Application Form IMM 0008" (the ones with bar codes)?....

yeah indeed salbakuta,so unpredictable!...but still im eager to apply..ur so lucky because they did'nt return ur documents..yeah i used the old one, but i used also generic application form imm 0008..when did u received letter a letter requesting ur ielts...did u apply online?

I also applied in May 2012 with CIO NS. After six weeks I emailed them for no reply from their side. I got my AOR in July 2012. Have to applied with the help of consultant?

Hi Guys just would like to share the latest update of my application. My sponsor was interviewed today and told me that the interview went well. Normally, how long it takes before we can received the results either approved or denied. (Hopefully the decision should favor on our side ). Here is my timeline by the way

Hi Guys just would like to share the latest update of my application. My sponsor was interviewed today and told me that the interview went well. Normally, how long it takes before we can received the results either approved or denied. (Hopefully the decision should favor on our side ). Here is my timeline by the way

More like MPNP has started work on the online applications submitted in the month of April 2012.

In our case, we just submitted a bank certificate showing the outstanding balance. It did not indicate history of transactions, just the total amount.

Based from the doc checklist under settlement fund (General Stream):
* letters from financial institutions indicating balance and account history in applicant's and/or spouse's name for the last three months

Is account history also included in the doc checlist that you used?

NOTE ON BANK HISTORY:

I just checked the MPNP site and effective Oct 1, 2012, they will require mail applications to include Settlement Plans instead of MAS. Therefore, whether an applicant submits online or by mail, a financial history including bank statements covering a minimum 6 months must be included.

I quote: Settlement Plan 1 page 5

"5. Your financial situation
All applicants for nomination for permanent immigration to Canada must demonstrate that they have access to sufficient financial resources in their own name to support their settlement in Manitoba. In the MPNP application the principal applicant must submit a financial history including bank statements covering a minimum of six months, a statement of debts and assets, and proof of ownership of real estate including current market price evaluations.
Please provide a summary of your assets and debts as indicated in your MPNP application."

Although many of us went through varying circumstances, and many advice are helpful, the latest guidelines and requirements should supercede.

My principal applicant is currently reviewing in 9ners and will take exams in IDP next week (22 Aug. & 25 Aug.) - - - - my cousin submitted personally in Winnipeg immigration office.

@karambir singh - - - - if your application has been submitted in Winnipeg, i assure you that you will receive your AOR on the 4th month (sept. 15) from the date of submission.

HEY EVERYONE !


there are some things playin in my mind... CURRENTLY 1 sponsor is accepted as long as he/she can give a settlement plan for the principal applicant and N E V E R sponsored anyone....

WHAT ABOUT US? who submitted MAS from our sponsors? is it required too that THEY SHOULDN'T sponsored anyone prior to us?or was it allowed before that sponsors can support as many applicants as they can?...............need you feedback on this...thnx
