Hello :)

For those who got their AORs and waiting for the interview, here's the post from BK from page 22 of this thread. This will help us a lot.

Dear All,

Here are some possible QUESTIONS for the sponsors/applicant when the MPNP Program officer conducts an interview:
A. How and when did you meet each other? What is the real name of the applicant/sponsor? (nicknames too)
B. How long did you know each other or what is your relationship with your sponsor?
C. When was the last time you talked to your Sponsor/ Applicant or have a communication with them?
D. When was the last time you saw your Sponsor/ Applicant?
E. Is your sponsors related to each other? What can you say about your sponsor A? Sponsor B?
F. What is his/her current work, current position? Current addresses?
G. How about their family composition regarding the sponsor/applicant, civil status?
H. What is the name of their parents (in cases were sponsors are siblings).
I. Are you sure you will not transfer to other province once given a Letter of Approval?
J. Are you aware of the consequences to you and your Sponsors once you leave or didn't settle at all in Manitoba?
K. Is your sponsor willing to help you in your settlement plan to Manitoba?
L. What are the possible things that your sponsor can offer or help you when you arrive?
M. What do you know about Manitoba? (If you can state some facts regarding weather, environment or maybe events/holidays )
N. How long you want to stay in Manitoba?
O. Do you have relatives/friends in other province aside from Manitoba?
P. Do you think you can easily find a job in Manitoba and why? What are the websites you are using to find available jobs in MB? Can you site some companies that you remember?

Just a friendly reminder, just tell the truth, no need to lie, if you don't know the answer just say so. Stay calm and don't panic, please answer in a polite manner as they seem to have a habit of going back and forth on the same questions. Goodluck!!!

Thanks to everstranger35 for the idea.

BK

Hi fellow future Manitobans!

I'm from Paranaque City, Philippines.

I will be applying thru general stream and will be sending my application within the week. I just would like to clarify the following:

Per MDOC General page2: Notarized copies of education, employment, and settlement funds docs should be attached as supporting docs.

How do I send the following (all docs are in english)? Do I need to photocopy these docs, then notarize the copies, then send the notarized copies? Or no need for notarization, just send the following docs?
- certified true copies of my school diploma and TOR
- orig copies of bank certificates
- orig copies of employment certs
- orig copy of real estate market valuation
- orig copies of stock certs

Thanks and good luck to all!

Dear,

First you should not send any original doc (with the exception of bank statement or bank certificate, as those are issued based on your request.)

So rest all doc copies needs to be notarized.

Hi BK,
But if we have requested multiple original copies of docs such as birth certificate etc...it's also ok to send the original supporting docs to MPNP right? Only photocopies must be to the federal office in a later date (?)...

Quick questions for Filipino applicants:

1) For National ID, which supporting doc did you include (NBI, SSS, passport)? If passport is OK, then photocopy of passport is listed/included twice in the application kit (under "Identification" and "Passport/Travel Docs") right?

hi, your MPNP application must be applied or send directly to manitoba wherein, they are going to assess you application based on your qualifications, etc... once your application is approved from the province of Manitoba they will send an LOA or Letter of Approval... then that's the only time that you will send another application to Federal wherein all applications are being sent directly to CIC Nova Scotia. Hope this info helps. Regards.
hello,
correct me if i'm wrong, you are saying that once an applicant received the LOA, other pertinent documents (including passports, medical cert...etc) should be submitted (by mail?) to CIC Nova Scotia? Or we could just have personal visit to any embassy near to your current location and process the application for visa? do i have correct procedures in mind? please enlighten !! thanks ;)

so far we don't consider NBI, SSS or passport as national ID in the Phils...I think photocopy of passport will suffice, then if you are working overseas, a copy of your working visa should be provided during the application/submission.

Dear,

No need to send original at any point to either MPNP or federal. For both processes you have to send notorized copies only.
