Family Stream, sent by courier to my by bro-in-law in Winnipeg, sya nag forward dun. Sayang nga meron na pala online application for priority streams mas mabilis gaya ni carl may LOA agad sya. Sana wag matapos ang March na di natin natatanggap yung AOR man lang.

Hello baka po natabunan lang ng mga online applications. Yung pinsan ko up to now wala pa LOA eh mag 9 months na yung kanya

Nakareceive ako ng letter from MPNP with FILE #. They are asking for additional documents..

hello, newbie here sorry what does PPR and ECAS stands for? I'm reading the other thread but can't understand

here's our timeline:
We submitted our application thru my husband's family in Canada, last August 2011 we received a letter that we are nominated and need to apply for a visa here. We send our application for visa at the embassy last Jan. 6 2012. Last March 7, we received an acknowledgement of our application thru email and just today, we received a letter that we should undergo our medical exam within 30 days.

just one question :
my husband is the principal applicant, my job will end this march (end of contract),I'm planning to look for another job since I don't know how would our application would end. If I landed on another job, do I need to update our application re my new job?

ECAS is electronic client application status (you can find it in the canadian immigration site www.cic.gc.ca
PPR-passport request (for visa stamping)
MR- medical request
AOR- acknowledgement of receipt
LOA- letter of approval (after your sponsor's interview in canada)
DM-decision made

i don't think you need to update your employment status since you have transferred your files in your VO (visa office). unless later, during the PPR, the VO may require you to submit additional documents then you can tell them your latest employment status
