By the time they actually hire somebody we will get our visa's.useless for us.4.5 month since docs received by moscow.2 months since AOR. Moscow is a joke

Don't get excited yet, we are waiting since August 31, 2010, when our Application was transfered to Moscow from Mississauga. Moscow did not start Processing till November 8, 2010, and we have not got any word from them yet. We also are getting impatient, but have to hope for the best.

Hanmar, Welcome! So your timing is beside longway. You are both ahead of me and there was no previous time to get excited until now for you guys. I think what really matters is those before us were approved 5-5.5 months after AOR, which is when the make your file number.

You shouldn't get impatient just yet, wait a month and THEN start to get impatient. I will get at that point after another 6 weeks. You and longway are getting at the end point. Trust me!

A presentation as referenced in our previous discussions mentions a little over 500 get approved in family class last year. So we are only so little people on the forums telling us their details.

As I said, In one month you should be done.

OMG !! request more Doc again . they request Police certificate again because the one we submint was expaired . I am worry about medical now ! I know police certificate only good for 6 months . and because we have newborn baby, we have to re-send family and schedule one -background again. but I don't know this is good sign of not , on the letter,says

If the validity of your current travel passports is less than 1 year, you should apply for new travel passports now. Every applicant, including children, requires their own passports.

longway, I'm assuming you are speaking about RU police certificate for your wife? I think they are valid for 3 months. And the 3 month requirement is that you submit your application within the 3 month period that it is valid. for example, we got ours on Aug. 18th and application was sent in Sept. 9th. It is also the requirement of CPC-Miss to insure your police certificate is valid with application submittal also...

What is the original police certificate date?

What is the date your medical?

So you're looking at one month to get police certficate and passport renewals, if required. Not good news to hear, but something relatively easy to get. Hopefully 1 month and you can have this all done. As far as I know, you can still get the 'older' passports much quicker than the new 10yr ones.

I would send the new filled out forms this week and write a letter to them saying that you are working on the other reequested documents.

Once they get all they are asking for, you'll probably have Visa's within a week or two after.

Ok, So you will need to apply for passport of your newborn baby only, assuming the baby is with her in Russia.

What is the date of your original police certificate? It might help make more sense of what is going on.

Them asking for it AFTER April 30, 2011 is confusing to me also.

I don't think you'll have an issue with the medical as you're good until August. She should be here by then before the 1yr expire date.

I just received by mail CAIPS notes (now GCMS Information Request) requested Feb 22, 2011. They are dated March 7 and were mailed to me on March 24 and arrived yesterday, March 30. Report is 19 pages in all! Nothing special.

Does anyone knows what "App Status: Prospective" in the HISTORY section means? Does it only mean that they acknowledge reception of PRV application?

Yeah, I'm thinking of this as a great thing. I really can't stand that people falsify marriage to get here. Don't give PR as soon as they land, doesn't make sense! For those of us that are genuine, doesn't matter at all

Uber, I couldn't tell you, but I think it's probably standard meaning that your status is ongoing... I should receive second order of caips this Mon.-Tues. and hoping for some different information. I think I will not get the new system documents as my processing began in the old system.

Shawn: I could not agree more with you on false marriages. Bad for all of us. Also being discussed by (mostly) Russian women on chemodan.ua Canada forum.

I would think that all CAIPS notes have been transferred to GCMS by now. In our (more recent) case we asked for CAIPS and received only GCMS report. Last Friday I asked another report and checked both CAIPS and GCMS on the form but, in our case, I'm sure only GCMS report will be sent again. I wonder if it will mention our TRV application they received just after the last GCMS report was generated.

Another month to wait for this report. Hopefully in the meantime we will receive TRV or, even better, PRV ! ;D

5 months since moscow received the file. I wonder if its even in process. April 6 requested GCMC notes. April 11 pony express received application for TRV. When is this going to end. We are waiting, but its so hard to be apart for that long. Planning on going to visit her May 21

Dmitri. Our file was transfered from Mississauga on August 31st 2010, and Moscow started processing Nov 8 , we send additional relationship information voluntarily on February 21. We were asked for additional Documents on March 28 we send requested documents on April 8, received in Moscow April 11. Our application has been in Moscow now for over 7 months, we also apply'd for a TVR but were denied.
We are also getting a little frustrated, but according to Trackit we are still 32 days below average
