OK I got my notes!!

Notes generated 4 Sep. Summary is Eligibility is Recommended Passed (big relief!!) on 7 August. No one has looked at file since. At the time of notes Criminality and Security had not started.

Question for anyone familiar with GCMS notes. In the activities section I see the line

SUMMARY NOTES: CIO RECOMMENDATION FOR PA AND SPOUSE: PASS CRIMINALITY

Is this just a standard line because in the beginning of notes they have mentioned criminality has not started. Thanks!
After looking at your question, I checked mine and its the same for me too :| Criminality and Security seperately are NOT STARTED but has this line under Analyst Recommendation.

Then it’s a standard line with no meaning I guess. I think they will pick our files for security and criminality later. Whenever they do PPR is not far. But they will wait.

I think it is
Summary Notes : CIO Recommendation for both PA and Spouse: PASS
Criminality CIO Note : Documents to be reviewed
Then it’s a standard line with no meaning I guess. I think they will pick our files for security and criminality later. Whenever they do PPR is not far. But they will wait.
Yeah... Hopefully
I am waiting for a miracle to happen :p

I am stuck with Montreal too.
AOR July 16, Medicals passed: August 3.
When i used the IRCC webform to inquire status, i got a response saying the completeness check was finalized on August 23(whatever status that means) and transferred to Montreal..Dont think i have hope of any movement this year based on the responses of people here

Welcome to Montreal Family!

Completeness or R10 check is one of the very first and very important steps in your application. This is where an analyst checks whether all the required documentation is available. Most rejections happen at this stage so passing this stage is a good news!
Also, the famed “6 months timeline” actually starts from R10 completeness date. So, even though your AOR is 16 July your date for 6 month timeline is 23 August.

And yes unfortunately based on the trend of Montreal you should not expect anything this year. If you’re lucky you may get it by end of this year.

Congratulations man.........I think a lot of activity happened between 6 and 7 August. The last time I spoke with a CIC call center agent, I was told that the last update on my account was on 6 August. Unfortunately, the agent couldn't tell me what exactly the update was. She just asked that I wait for them to complete the eligibility. Well, am waiting for my notes to see. Once more, congratulations!!! You just have to wait till whenever as they can't refuse your application anymore.

Thanks! And I’m really happy to see you here after a loooooong time. I know your wait is very long and I hope it ends soon.

And I think you can’t trust the agents and gcms is the only way of finding out what’s happening. There were at least 3 guys from Montreal who were told no eligibility and no background and they got PPR same evening. So not sure whether they don’t see details of Montreal or something else.

All the best for your notes. Hope they are positive.

Thanks so much for the clarification and guidance! I appreciate it. Glad to know atleast my rejection chance is low. Its going to be a long wait, my status question was answered on Oct 2 so they havent even started eligibility from August 23.

That may not be true. I think you should order GCMS notes and find out.

Thanks man......So was your eligibility check done at the CIO before transfer to Montreal or was it done at Montreal after the file transfer?

Good thing to know is - Montreal is not a VO which handles only review required cases. They are just little slow, but still within 6-month limits.
The CIO is recommending that Criminality be passed, but it's just a recommendation based on your PCC as it's not the CIO that does the criminality checks

It was done by Montreal. CIO did the R10 check and moved it to Montreal.
Nice to know.....exactly the same situation for me then as my first GCMS notes showed that only R10 was done at the CIO before the transfer to Montreal. When I called CIC 2 weeks ago, I was told that the last update on my file was on 6 August. Hopefully, the initial eligibility check was done by a Montreal officer. Now, they are waiting for the big boss to finalize. Did you see counterfoil stuff in your GCMS? Was there a PRVUe in the notes?

I am just curious to know what they must have recommended for me as the agent didn't even know where to find whether the eligibility was recommended: passed or for review.

Anyways, am trusting in the Lord for positive conclusion for all us, Amen!!!
