One member did create a group but I’m not sure if people joined in. I personally not a fan of WhatsApp group. They kind of increase my anxiety more. But if you go a few pages back you may see a link for a WhatsApp group.Hi @cansha, Don't we have a WhatsApp group for Montreal VO?
I've got what you mean . I will check the thread for the link, thanks. One member did create a group but I’m not sure if people joined in. I personally not a fan of WhatsApp group. They kind of increase my anxiety more. But if you go a few pages back you may see a link for a WhatsApp group.
Unfortunately your assessment may be correct unless something dramatically changes. When I called and got to know that my visa office is Montreal I hadn’t even see this visa office mentioned in any post. I had seen Sydney Nova Scotia and Ottawa. And just knowing my visa office was neither of those kind of gave me a feeling that processing may be slow. Then the journey of finding fellow Montreal folks began. Now we have close to 35 cases.I've got what you mean . I will check the thread for the link, thanks.
I am just going through the entire thread, post by post, and with every post, I'm realizing that I shouldn't expect PPR before February 2019 .
It's really great that you created this thread and summarized, analyzed and concluded from the cases spanning across 6 months! Without this, I would have been always worrying if I get to know from the agent in one more month from now that eligibility still hasn't started yet. I couldn't find the option of choosing the Montreal VO on MyImmiTracker either.Unfortunately your assessment may be correct unless something dramatically changes. I think we are missing a few from May month. We have almost 12 people from April and June each.
One good point or bad point depending on how you look at it is that Montreal is relatively sequential in processing applications. We haven’t seen a case of very early processing yet. Which means as the progress moves from April to May AORs we can get better idea of our own PPRs.
They take their own sweet time. One thing though do order GCMS notes around 70-90 day mark. May be our notes request nudges these people in some way. Although I know it won't but hey what do we have to lose and we can dream that they work faster!!It's really great that you created this thread and summarized, analyzed and concluded from the cases spanning across 6 months! Thanks for all the information man, appreciate your time and efforts.
I guess there could be some way to motivate the officers at Montreal for accelerated processing, seems they are still working with pre-EE timelines and mindsets

Same date as mine. I'm awaiting too. Damn the wait for notes is also so bad!!I too have ordered notes on sep-3. They should arrive soon.
Thanks. Yeah see till feb or mid March Montreal was giving PPRs in 100 to 120 day range. I wonder what happened to them from late March onwards. Seems like a bunch of employees may be just quit. They have slowed down like hell !!Another case to add to our tally,

Good thing to know is - Montreal is not a VO which handles only review required cases. They are just little slow, but still within 6-month limits.OK I got my notes!!
Notes generated 4 Sep. Summary is Eligibility is Recommended Passed (big relief!!) on 7 August. No one has looked at file since. At the time of notes Criminality and Security had not started.
Question for anyone familiar with GCMS notes. In the activities section I see the line
SUMMARY NOTES: CIO RECOMMENDATION FOR PA AND SPOUSE: PASS CRIMINALITY
Is this just a standard line because in the beginning of notes they have mentioned criminality has not started. Thanks!
