FINALLY!!!!! After my umpteenth complaint of yesterday and 9 months after sending my application, I got my test invitation!!!

August 23rd at *drum roll* 10:16 am When giving such detailed times, they better be on time

They said to plan about 3 hours for the test, I'm taking time off work to get there, do you think three hours is accurate? Or should I plan more time?

It should probably be closer to 2h. Even less if you don't wait that much for your interview.

Hey brother, you and I have so much in common! I promis you are next... when you think about it thing make sense in a weird way.. I guarantee you will hear something within a few days or 1 week max! We got stuck because of the stupid RQ but at least it gets worked on sooner and later...
Trust me... I know exactly how it feels and prays the almighty you get the relief soon! Plus once you do you forget somehow and the pain! This pain however get us so much gain! Moving from such low 3rd class world citizens to world elite! And we enjoy/appreciat/cherish the new passport much more then someone born here and might be taking it for granted!
All in all... NO PAIN NO GAIN (après la pluie, le beau temps) cheers and patience ... THIS IS IT

I wonder how fast Montreal office will process those with the “lite” questionnaires. The number of those people waiting in line even without such extra docs to provide is so much that I wonder if the officers would first finish all other applicants before even looking into files which need more or significantly more time... I sometimes wonder if COs would get help from other staff to do works like verifying passport stamps or to look into leases and statements. To add to the story, when I asked how long more the RQ Lite will add to my file, she said they are committed to the 1 year window. I hope she was right I am Oct Applicant. IP since Jan, test in March, extra docs sent in early Apr.

I just wanna share with you some good news specially that we share almost the same timeline . I had my file status changed to DM yesterday ( though wife's file didn't) . I think yours will be soon changed to DM . Seems they finished their vacation staff and started to remove some dust from the top of the stacked files on their tables. Will pray for you and all stressed people facing the same situation.

I think we share the same feelings as I had my DM yesterday after 211 days IP and 150 days since I passed the test. I believe that we will receive our invitations soon . let us stay positive and wait the big day.
