Hi all,
I completed landing day before yesterday and today I went to Service Canada office for SIN. First and last name of my son on SIN letter is interchanged. Now according to passport, name of my son is "Muhammad Umar" while SIN letter says it is "Umar Muhammad". I informed the Service Center lady but she told me that she has to mention the name as stated on the COPR and she is not concerned with the passport. Also, she advised me that I should contact the citizenship office.
I am here for three weeks only and intend to go back to my country on April 08, 2015. I am going to citizenship office tomorrow morning but I am worried about the time it will take for the correction of name.Please if any body could advise that how much time it will take and how I should get out of this trouble.
