Yes you can do a soft landing with your car under US financing.

Ok I am reading in the other forum that you need to have the Car title to cross the border. But My car Title is still with my financing company and I will have to payoff the balance loan amount to get the title. This is the reason I see it as a concern.

At border crossing, CBSA agent will ask you for car title and registration and you will tell him/her that you are just going to CBSA office to finish landing formalities and you will return to USA from CBSA office. You do not want to import car today and you will do it in next trip. CBSA officer will allow you through border crossing. Keep Car registration + Insurance handy in case asked.
