**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

Hi Guys,

I am sponsoring my wife and 2 kids( Under 18 years), they are currently living in India! Do I need to submit IMM5481? If not what financial evaluation document required?My document checklist doesn't call for that, but I came across the same online somewhere.

Your help is much appreciated.

Your actual 'cic my account' changed to that? Does your ECAS say decision made?

Yes Ecas changed to DM about 2weeks ago, but CIC said ‘we are processing your background check’ still until I sent final scan and document via webform, which then changed to ‘completed’ and approved. Might be a coincidence but wanted to thank you all the same as it definitely helped us!

The MyCIC account changes to say application is approved the same day that they put the COPR in the mail. :) So it doesn't happen until after DM
 
I am sponsoring my wife from Pakistan. I am a little confused about the VO for her, i have seen some applicants online with their VO being Mississauga.
  • Would her VO be London or Mississauga?
  • Do i have to submit entire application package in Mississauga or just the sponsorship evaluation forms?

You submit the entire application to Mississauga where the officers there will make an initial assessment of the application and deal with the sponsorship application. Mississauga will then decide whether the application qualifies for streamlined processing at their offices, or whether it will be sent abroad to the VO dealing with applicants for your wife's country; in this case the London VO.

Most applications get sent abroad, but Mississauga does take on quite a few, themselves. Mississauga also deals with most of the inland applications, too.

I think the addresses for apps to be sent to, got changed a few days ago.
 
Our outland spousal sponsorship is being processed in Mississauga, it was received in the 13th of February, AOR1 26 march, schedule a, pcc, medicals passed a few days later, than we received communication we would stay in Miss and background check started at the end of april. We are at 4 months mark now and bgc since a month and a half almost, do you think it is time for a call to cic or to order notes?
