I woke up to nothing!!!!!

Like every other day for 7 months

Have people neglected to remember that applications are supposed to take 12 months and there isn't a guarantee that a decision is made sooner? People should relax.

Agreed but i also can understand how frustrating it must be for people who applied in January and are seeing August applicants receiving DMs, PRs and CoPRs.
This is an emotional process for most people and in my experience, emotions have never been great partners with logic or patience :)

Yes, but it’s one thing to be emotional about it and it’s a whole different thing to make negative comments in response to other people’s positive news. Those of us getting approved have nothing to do with others who are still waiting and it’s not fair to make negative remarks to people after they get their PPR.

My application got returned three times and I never made nasty remarks to people on the forum who were getting AOR while I was not.

This is a tough process for all of us, we have no control over anything, we have complete strangers making a decision on our future. We all have to prepare for the 12 months, we are here to help and support each other because unless you are in this situation no one understands what you are going through.
It's not anyone's fault they are getting approved before 12 months. This forum is a support network

Lol calm down. Those who got their pprs shouldn't come to this forum if they find these comments nasty or whatever. Cuz to them every comment would seem inapproriate and directed towards them. Which is so not the case. Everybody is just sharing their feelings, nothing else. Peace. xD :D

There's actually only one couple who is guilty of making the rude remarks. Everyone else is supportive. Unfortunately this one couple has 4 accounts between them that they share so it seems like there is more negativity than there actually is. I'm not bothered, but I do think it's unfortunate.

People should feel comfortable sharing their positive news here, I don't see why people should hesitate about posting they got their PPR. It helps other people to know timelines.

Hi all,

We have been monitoring this thread for months now and have finally decided to join and include our timeline:

Application Received: June 16, 2017
Application Processing/Request for Schedule A and BGC: July 18, 2017
Sponsor Approval: August 30, 2017
Request for Medical: September 1, 2017
CPC Mississauga transfer: September 12, 2017

We are working through a representative so we don't use ECAS, only GCKey and our last update was "Medical results have been received".

Hoping for good news (or at least another update) soon!

Judging by the recent trends I’d say you will get dm/ppr anyday

Please anyone can help me?
I think you should be fine. If you put any additional information about your relationship on a separate sheet and in your case it was extra information about your relationship with your spouse it would probably go under the question “if there’s more information you wish to support your relationship” and it’s like you just continued answering that question. On the CIC site it states “ if you need more space to explain your situation, attach a separate sheet of paper. On the paper give the full answer. Write the number of the question you are answering”. Nowhere it states that you should sign those extra sheets as well...plus hey...we didn’t sign every single page of the application package, right? Only the certain pages where the signatures were required.

I totally agree, it helps to know how the visa office is working, and I'm happy for everyone that gets closer to the end of their immigration process. Hoping I will be as well soon, in just over a week it's been a full year since IRCC got my application.

I really hope you hear something soon! Fingers crossed for you.

July 27 - App Received
Jan 4- Pre-arrival
Vo: Mississauga

Anyone have an idea what pre arrival means and indicates in context to when DM or ppr may come?

Congrats!
It means you'll get DM and PPR very soon. In my case it took 8 days, but I think typically it's sooner than that (sometimes even same day or next day).
