Crazy how so many June-August apps are getting approved when there is apps from January that are not approved. Doesn’t seem right. A lot of us with straight forward apps are sitting still with no movement.

Congrats! So was your ECAS “in process” for about a week then? Mine has been in process since the 20th and i was starting to get nervous because i don’t know of any other Mississauga people who had it stay that way for that long! I guess maybe just because of the holidays. I’m really hoping for DM tomorrow!!

Yeah, in ECAS it was only showing "in process" for one business week before I received DM and PPR. I really do think the holidays are why ours are like this, literally everyone else's I've seen has had like a day or two between them. Good luck! I hope you get yours soon too.

A lot of us haven't been approved, for all we know is our background check could take months and months.

Did you order notes recently just to find out what is going on? It will happen for you buddy, it's a tough process for everyone just keep your chin up, it's worth the wait

For small mistakes, there might be chance that they will still keep your application without returning it. For me, I didn't prepare my NOA very well (but I submit all the other tax info), and they still kept my application and gave me the application number, but missing signature is considered to be a big mistake. They will return your package FOR SURE and you need to sign it and send it back to CIC.

Yep. Ordered notes 3 times. No news really other than info sharing complete. As far as I know my background check has not started and I applied wnd of March

Hi, I just want to make sure if i have any misunderstanding. Did you forget to sign any formal forms that CIC request to fill, or just forgot to sign a description you wrote by yourself? The first situation is 100% to return. The second one is not bad, they might still keep your application.

You're still within the 12 months, just bear with it. Start to worry after the 12 months. It's difficult, I get that, everyone gets that, just stay positive, your day will come. Try not to be negative and like I said, keep your chin up

I guess no news is good news. I have a dismissed charge so that may take some time as well. Just jealous of people getting approved so quick!
