My wife is a USA applicant. We sent in our PPR by FedEx International Priority. The package arrived in Ottawa 22 hours after it left Olympia, WA
Of note, we signed up for a shipping account with FedEx and with the account we were able to generate shipping labels for both the To Ottawa envelope and the return envelope.
Thank you very much for your response. I just mailed mine today and I picked UPS. I have heard both UPS and Fedex are the reliable ones to use. Hope they will activate the return tracker on time!

Received DM and PPR together on Nov 24. Sent passport package to Ottawa on Nov 27 and it was received Nov 29. Waiting for COPR to be sent to us and return tracking to activate.

Dumb question for you... what did your GCkey say about your medical once it expired? Did it stay as “medical passed” or did it flip to “you do not need a medical”? My medical expired so I’m just curious
Congrats!

It said medicals were passed the entire time, no change in GCKey the entire duration of the process.

Congrats to all who have received PPR lately!

Could anyone give some details on what information is actually requested in the PPR email? We were wondering if there's anything we can prepare in advance since we want to get it in the mail asap, whenever we receive that long-awaited update :).

Makes no sense how may apps are getting dm/ppr when there is people from Jan-mar who are not approved.

Ircc is being completely unfair

Ya...completely agree.....March here. Everything is done, still waiting and will most likely continue waiting. I wouldn't know how to act otherwise. IRCC completely unfair.

Yep March here. Not right.

Anyone else from March still waiting?

Hang in there!
That feeling of your COPR inside your passport is all worth the waiting

I can only dream about that right now!!

That is all I want for Christmas lol

Same here...and for my birthday and all other holidays in between. I'm so used to waiting for EVERYTHING that this just doesn't even phase me anymore and sure wouldn't even know how to react when and if it ever does!!! March applicant and still nothing, always nothing. I'm traveling anyways, and &*%$ the wait!

Thanks for the response! Mine flipped statuses so I'm thinking they'll probably request a new one from me.
Congrats again :) You are patient and kind!

I am March 28th applicant from Brazil and I am still waiting. I went down to the MP office on thursday since I am currently visiting Canada and they told me that they have all the documents and that they are on the criminality check stage right now. Does anyone know what comes next to the criminality check stage? Or what does this criminality stage stands for exactly? I found that most of the people "stuck" in Mississauga are americans and I am the only Brazilian that I know that is on that situation. I would be glad if someone knew which was the next step.
And they also told my MP that after it was done whatever they are done in Mississauga it will be sent to Ottawa.

Yep haha I am still waiting. I have friends that sent a week after me and already got their PPR. I wish the processing was done in "first come first serve basis". I strongly sugest you or your sponsor to contact the MP. I could not get a hold of CIC through the phone but the MP could and all my doubts were answered in less than 30 minutes. It is totally worth it

Waiting sucks, but do you realize that if things were processed on a first come first serve basis the wait time would be unfathomably longer? There are still many applicants waiting from 2016, you'd be waiting an exponentially longer time. At least this way they are able to work on apps concurrently.
