Could the three of you share your timelines of when you applied until now?

did you get any updates?

All they could tell me was that Yes, my paperwork is still in Mississauga Visa Office, Yes, my medical passed, and they are still doing background check. I have an appointment on Thursday with my MP....who knows. I'm exhausted and just mentally spent.

The only thing they could tell me was that my application was still in Mississauga Visa Office, That my medical did pass, and they are still doing my background check. I have an appointment with my MP on Thursday...who knows, I am emotionally and physically spent. It is what it is....nothing we can do about it.

We were requested to provide additional documents in spousal sponsorship application some of which are due for Nov 22, 2017. We submitted them on Nov 16 2017 using Web form because our online application didn't provide any provision to upload from there (may be a technical issue, I called the CIC helpline and informed the agent about it and she suggested to submit using any of the other two remaining ways - by mail or using web form).

My question here is that the online application as of Nov 21, 2017 is still saying "We need more documents to continue processing your application" and the due date is tomorrow Nov 22, 2017, should we be worried? How much time does it take for the documents to come in notice and get uploaded to the online application?

I would appreciate if someone could share their experience.

I believe it takes five business days at a bare minimum and sometimes up to a few weeks. You should be fine.

CoPR: 21-Nov-17
Landing: 30-Nov-17

The COPR will list the expiry date of your medical (which is one year after you got it) or the expiry date of your passport, whichever comes first. If you don't enter Canada by that date, the COPR is voided

I have a weird situation going on with my medical and I'm being paranoid. Basically I'm pretty sure they don't realize that they don't have a current medical on file for me. Mine was submitted upfront but it was super old (like, from 2016, before they changed it) so it's expired now. I haven't been able to get through to them on the phone so I submitted a technical difficulties report on the IRCC webform saying that I think I should have received a medical request but it's not showing up on my account (basically phrasing it that way so I could report it as a technical difficulty, LOL). All the other July and August Mississauga folks got their meds request forever ago, so I do have valid reason to believe they forgot about me because I was dumb and submitted that other medical. I just don't want it to cause any delays at the end if I get approved and they realize whoops, I still need a medical. This process is turning me into a crazy person
