I was worried about the same issue, and I know of someone whos medicals expired BEFORE they got it approved. so I'm sure they take those of use who sent medicals upfront into concideration and extend the medical validity on the CoPR.I have a weird situation going on with my medical and I'm being paranoid. Basically I'm pretty sure they don't realize that they don't have a current medical on file for me. Mine was submitted upfront but it was super old (like, from 2016, before they changed it) so it's expired now. I haven't been able to get through to them on the phone so I submitted a technical difficulties report on the IRCC webform saying that I think I should have received a medical request but it's not showing up on my account (basically phrasing it that way so I could report it as a technical difficulty, LOL). All the other July and August Mississauga folks got their meds request forever ago, so I do have valid reason to believe they forgot about me because I was dumb and submitted that other medical. I just don't want it to cause any delays at the end if I get approved and they realize whoops, I still need a medical. This process is turning me into a crazy person
Mine doesn't expire till Dec.2., but my CoPR should be here tomorrow. So I'll let you guys know if they extended the validity. or not.
