I assume it's on the one on CIC website. still not clear if PPR request was to a CPC-M applicant.
I'm definitely most curious about if they're also a CPC-M applicant or not.
I originally was an Ottawa case that got transferred back to Mississauga so I'm hoping they had the same transfer and can share the email they chose to write to! I'm so happy to see someone in this thread getting accepted regardless! :D
Both applicants (gotanswers? and BlueGreen) who got their PPR this past week were being processed in Ottawa VO and not Mississauga. They both got their DM on September 1st. In gotanswers?'s case he/she got the "your application will be processed in Mississauga" email last Friday but then a few hours later he/she got the PPR email from Ottawa. In both cases, they got the PPR email soon after sending an email to Ottawa VO.

If only we could find the CPC-M VO email :D

It took 10 days for them to do anything after my email. BlueGreen got it in 2 hours. Good luck guys. I even had started tweeting on IRCC twitter account.

Given those 2 data points I don't believe it was related to your emails.. but who knows :)

What was the email address that you used? Also, was your case updated to being in Mississauga before you contacted Ottawa today?
Can you also share you timeline please? Congrats though!
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca is the email address I used. Yes, my file was transferred to Ottawa months ago, then I received an email last week that it was being transferred back to Mississauga for processing.

Application filed on March 14, 2017
DM on September 1, 2017
PPR received on October 19, 2017

Congrats! Were you being processed in Ottawa VO the entire time? Did you get the get the "application will be processed in Mississauga" email?
I received the email about my application being transferred from Ottawa back to Mississauga last week. So it was originally in Mississauga then moved to Ottawa then back to Mississauga.

I hope you're right and that it means only good things with it moving forward! I've checked all emails regularly (including junk), post mail, and myCIC at least every other day since I was FINALLY able to link in March. I feel like a dumbie having not been aware of ECAS showing additional information. I had made the assumption it was just for people who opted to not have an online myCIC account.
However, it mostly seems to be saying the same things as my myCIC other than it shows it as "Decision Made" rather than "Processing".

I work in Washington state so I commute almost every day for work from Vancouver...one border officer awhile back ago (while looking up my GCMS during a random pull in) let it kind of slip that things looked approved - but I don't want to be too hopeful because he seemed new to the job! I just really really hope having not been notified of any problem about 10 months in is a good thing and means that I'm most likely accepted!
Interesting... My fiance is in Vancouver with me and he commutes to work in Washington state as well! Our bground check just went in process after almost 7 months of not hearing anything.

Thanks for sharing this info! I'm going to give this a go on Monday morning since I had the same file transfer for VO's as you. :)
I'm so happy hearing you got PPR though! Definitely gives me hope!

Oh really!? It's not wholly surprising though either since I work in one of the border towns and come across people with the same going-ons every now and then. It sounds like our situations are almost the exact same (even Vancouver!) other than I'm the principal applicant and the application for my fiancee and me is from December 2016. I hope we both hear back soon!

Background check finally started for us! We are February applicants and being processed in Mississauga. Things were not moving for a very long time, but we received a medical request two weeks ago, we got a notice that our application was being processed in Mississauga about 10 days ago, CIC now shows that background check has started, and we received another letter today asking for the form IMM 5409 (declaration of common-law status). So excited that our application is finally moving forward :)
Same for us. Did you already submit your common law decl?

BGC finally started for my wife. Called them last Thursday to clear things up, and by Saturday he BGC had started. She, never actually got an email about it, but we checked GCKey and it had changed on there. Here's hoping they make a decision soon!
