My husband is an American PA - our application went from Mississauga to Ottawa back to Mississauga where we received our DM. Might be anomaly. The only other applicant I knew about being transferred to an American VO was an applicant from February (I believe) who was transferred to LA.

Yah probably. We'll just have to wait and see. Congrats on getting DM. Hopefully you'll get passport request soon.

Does that mean that Mississauga does not/ cannot issue the CoPR? Cuz passport request and getting your CoPR are the only steps you have left since you already have DM. All this transferring our applications back and forth is starting to get on my nerves, but at the same time it makes sense too since Mississauga didn't previously do late stage processing so they probably don't have the resources to issue CoPRs. Hopefully you will get your passport request soon.

From the sounds of the gentleman I spoke with today it sounds like Mississauga does not issue the CoPR. I'm a rookie at this whole process and really don't know what to expect in terms of how this should be processed. All we can do is wait and hope that everything continues to move and gets finalized soon. I agree that this is very frustrating with applications being transferred numerous times without a clear plan of how this process should go.

Just got off the phone with CIC Mississauga. We have been approved for 2 weeks now, but I was now notified that our application needed to sent to Ottawa for instructions on the final steps. I asked if this was true, despite being emailed that the application was being processed in Mississauga. He assured me that this was the procedure and there was no timeline as to when I could expect this to be finalized...

just the regular CIC number 18882422100. Follow the prompts. Attempt approximately 2-4 times until you are put in a cue to wait 45 minutes to speak with an agent

This is incorrect information. This person only received AOR two days ago, it's not possible to assume that they have already received SA.

There are a bunch of people in the August thread who got their meds requests before SA (at least, before they had gotten the SA email).

So last night, I got an email telling me my app will be processed in Mississauga.

A couple of questions. One - Is this AOR2? And two - should I be disappointed? I’ve only skimmed this thread, but it doesn’t seem like these apps are moving super fast. What does this mean for my processing time?

Neither I used native lang.. they accepted my application package. Does Section B and C applicable for you? If not, did you mention "Not Applicable"?

I never received AOR2, yet our MPs office got us an update saying CPC-O is handling our 'assessment for Common-law'
Yet, I think Mississauga must be doing out Criminality report.
So I'm curious as to when these started and if we're considered in Mississauga and what all this has to do with OB570.

My ECAS just changed to Decision Made. I'm calling CIC now to find out what happens next, and how long I am likely to wait for COPR if it was a positive decision.

Thanks! I'm a little worried atm, because the Dr for my medical put the wrong country on the form, saying I was from Ireland.

Anyone able to say how long they waited between DM and a confirmation email/letter?
