My status on MyCIC changed yesterday.

Status now says "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."

The background check is now being processed, and the Final Decision section also says that the application is in process.

I received an email last week saying my application will be processed at CPC Mississauga. Looks like I'm joining the party too!

We received a decision fairly quickly after it having it transferred back to Mississauga - 2 weeks, to be exact. Hoping the same for you!

I am sponsoring my husband from Pakistan.

We received my AOR: Sept 28, 2017
We received email to link my application: October 2, 2017
We received a medical request: October 4, 2017

Do you know in this process when they will tell me I am eligible to be a sponsor? Or is that already decided? When I look at my online application status it says decision made. But nothing is updated when i click it.

Can someone help!!!!

We received email to link my application: October 2, 2017
We received a medical request: October 4, 2017

If you got that far, they've approved you as a sponsor. Some of the visa offices, for reasons I don't know, don't send sponsorship approval.

I see! Did you send all PCCs etc upfront ? Medicals are done but my PCCs only reached them recently so I guess it'll take a long time for me... how long did background check starting to the process ending take?

We sent a copy of the PCC upfront as well as medical. Medical was passed at the time we received the first AOR. BGC started around June 9th and we received a decision September 26th. It took a while!

i applied in august and today i received back my whole application just because on the form imm 5406 names in my native language were missing did it happened to anyone else

Neither I used native lang.. they accepted my application package. Does Section B and C applicable for you? If not, did you mention "Not Applicable"?

However, it was an incomplete email. My husband's vo does not accept it so I talk with my lawyer & mp's office & hopefully correct email will come tonight or tomorrow. I also know of a lady from Ottawa cpc that her copr was really incorrect.
