If you got that far, they've approved you as a sponsor. Some of the visa offices, for reasons I don't know, don't send sponsorship approval.
This is incorrect information. This person only received AOR two days ago, it's not possible to assume that they have already received SA.

Does the Mississauga VO have an email?

We sent a copy of the PCC upfront as well as medical. Medical was passed at the time we received the first AOR. BGC started around June 9th and we received a decision September 26th. It took a while!

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it. You are instructed to use the web form..
Unfortunately the webform produces generic responses :(

Yes, I've tried sending a case specific enquiry through the web form, all I got was a generic response saying:
Good Day,
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm it was received by responsible office.
If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

Have not heard anything at all from Mississauga since Feb 20th...

Yes - in that time we were transferred to Ottawa and back to Mississauga, so I'm curious as to how much time our app just spent sitting somewhere.

Unbelievable.
I am in contact with mp, they have contacted immigration and there is an email being sent to Rabat, Morocco about his visa. Also the correct email being sent to us. Hopefully today

The background check on my American husband started mid-March and we got final decision the beginning of June. Our application went straight to Ottawa following sponsor approval. Sometimes it just takes a while. We had to wait a fairly long time for SA as well, but aside from that everything seemed to proceed as we expected.

This is what I’m thinking too. I think in the past 3 months my app has been assigned to someone and that is about it.

Was browsing through the April outland 2017 thread and saw that an American applicant @amarantine being processed in Mississauga has now been transferred to NYC. I'm wondering if this is an anomaly or will we start seeing other US applicants also get tranferred to American based VOs?

Just got off the phone with CIC Mississauga. We have been approved for 2 weeks now, but I was now notified that our application needed to sent to Ottawa for instructions on the final steps. I asked if this was true, despite being emailed that the application was being processed in Mississauga. He assured me that this was the procedure and there was no timeline as to when I could expect this to be finalized...

Does that mean that Mississauga does not/ cannot issue the CoPR? Cuz passport request and getting your CoPR are the only steps you have left since you already have DM. All this transferring our applications back and forth is starting to get on my nerves, but at the same time it makes sense too since Mississauga didn't previously do late stage processing so they probably don't have the resources to issue CoPRs. Hopefully you will get your passport request soon.

My husband is an American PA - our application went from Mississauga to Ottawa back to Mississauga where we received our DM. Might be anomaly. The only other applicant I knew about being transferred to an American VO was an applicant from February (I believe) who was transferred to LA.
