My MPs office told me I should get the test invite within the next 2-3 weeks, and “if not, contact them again” - and I have a feeling I will contact them again ... and today I am entering my 12th months since submitting my application

Story like this makes my blood boil with huge amount of jealousy while waiting for test invite for 11 months and counting LOL

I can understand. Multiple people came after me and applied and became citizen much earlier than me, but hey we all have different type of blessings . If you're in Canada, you should be thankful and feel blessed. Good Luck

I did my test on August 21 (Scarborough) and waiting for oath invite as well. My application is still process. I am mississauga applicant. I called CIC and they said my 12 month period is finishing on 16th October so should hear something before that.

This is frustrating when u see other applicants getting things done faster than u, when we both applied the same time or even b4 them.... this Mississauga office is totally garbage, I wish I can face them one on one and rubbish all of them.

Hello All,

A friend of mine applied in October 17, lives in Mississauga and got the finger print request three days ago. If someone can help with the following questions:
1- Best location to get the FP in Mississauga?
2-On the letter says that make sure the file reference number is included in the fingerprint form, is it UCI or Application number that is in C00 format
3-Once the FP is done, the info will go to RCMP that part he understands but is there a way to ask RCMP to send the information to CIC directly or the results will come to the individual and then he will have to send the results to CIC office. Can the results be given to both (individual and CIC).

The address we need to send the results back to is:
