In process since Nov 17, 2017. Don't know whats going on, what are they doing ? Call centre says everything is fine - no concern and i am still with in the time limits

Same here ... IP since early December. I called them a few times too, but the agents seemed to have different stories - except that they would always say it's still within the 12-month limit

I gave up .Waiting since July 25th . Passed test on 11th Jan 2018 .IP since 12th sept 2017...no hope ..

Wow! That's a terrible lack of progress. I should have moved out of the GTA before submitting my application, LOL

Does anyone know if CIC needs to know of marital status change after citizenship application has been sent out? Assuming the marriage happened after the application was sent.

I actually called CIC and asked about that specifically and they said no as it is not material to your citizenship application

This is one case I'd recommend that you call your MP, ASAP.

I'm IP since November 2017, called call center this Monday, and she said that my application is still within time, and it's still in the security checks stage.

Missisauaga Office is slow, seems that they don't have enough staff or they have so much applications more than what they are capable of handling!

This is one case I'd recommend that you call your MP, ASAP.

I called MP office, he gave me same answer
"Can't do anything before 12 month time"

I mentioned Scarborough Test center speed he replied
"He can't ask them on this basis, that other Test center is better than Mississauga"

"He asked my detail to find status"

Then I said "I can do it myself"

but he replied me that
"He can find in more detail".
