I should also note that I sent a webform query last week asking speedy process as my spouse is pregnant. Didn't get a response for that, but got invite.

As per gcms from June, my office was Mississauga. But test invite is from Scarborough.
Looks like a recent trend that they started sending people whose secondary office is Mississauga to Scarborough for test, and sending people who did test in Scarborough to do oath in Mississauga - interesting, hopefully this will soon reach us

Thanks Jayson. so do you think that I might receive a test invitation soon? and if so when do you expect that I am November 6th, 2017 applicant.

You’re very welcome. When do you want to take the test? Maybe both of us will take the test together in August.

I called CIC today, and they told me that my application is still under criminality check. Also, the agent mentioned that I'm still within the 12 months processing time and my file in the local office Mississauga.
The agent said that my security check is done and they're waiting for my criminality check to be finalized before sending me the test. What's the difference between these two? And does it take that much to be done?

I'm September 2017 applicant, IP since NOV 2017.

Guys,
I completed the test yesterday at Glen Erin center - got 19/20 ..but please note there were 3 candidates who failed the test. Please take 2 days and study. Good luck!.

Is the 12 months processing period for Grant citizenship applications means till the oath or only till we get invited for citizenship test? Thanks

To be safe, I'd say take 2 weeks to study. Otherwise, it would be a scramble to properly capture all this information.

The 12 month processing is an operational benchmark only (not legally binding). However, they seem to aim for completion of the entire process (AOR to Oath) within the 12 months for routine applications. And of course, local offices are a major factor when it comes to processing timeline e.g. smaller cities/offices with less applicants cannot be compared to Mississauga or Scarborough.
