Aor: Oct 31 2017.
In process: Nov 23 2017.
Test invite received: Today, Jul 25 2018.

I feel ircc will definitely increase average processing time to 13/14 months in the next 2 months. There is no way they can process Mississauga October 2017 backlog before end of October 2018.

And I say you deserve better!

My analogy: If someone is running a 100m race and if s/he has run 20m in 9 seconds, it's almost impossible for that person to finish 100m in 10 seconds.

I hope I'm wrong and all of our applications are processed before October 2018.

I should also note that I sent a webform query last week asking speedy process as my spouse is pregnant. Didn't get a response for that, but got invite.

As per gcms from June, my office was Mississauga. But test invite is from Scarborough.

For your own personal satisfaction you could ring them. Realistically, they wouldn’t expedite the process. Inbound call receiving agents are trained professional, and they follow a generic script for all. They might give you an answer which wouldn’t satisfy your curiosity.
