I just got the oath invite for Nov. 5, 2021.
My application is from Nov. 2020, so I can consider myself one of the few lucky ones.

Seat number is blank in the letter and will be assigned when the ceremony starts.
I received the letter yesterday. I can't wait until Nov. 5 and finally pass this bridge!

Hi guys,
I had last update DM on July 20 and after that no invite for oath has been received.

I am an Oct 2019 applicant and sent my minor son application in Nov 2019 to be added to the account. Can that be the reason for delay ?

Any suggestions on what to do ?

Guys, I just got oath scheduled for 23 nov. I’m jan20 applicant and Dm was on 7 july. It’s Mississauga office.

I reached out to MP, last week got the reply which is same as IRCC web portal, Decision Made and Oath not Started

So I emailed the CIC Mississauga, yesterday and got the below reply today.

Your application is in the queue to be scheduled for a ceremony. Once you have been scheduled, we will contact you by email.

Since the beginning of COVID-19, IRCC has been increasing its use of digital tools to process Citizenship grant applications. E-applications were implemented in November 2020 in a limited capacity, and other virtual tools have been implemented to move towards virtual processing to the extent possible.

Applications are processed utilizing a first-in first-out processing model, with a small number of the oldest e-applications being processed as well. This ensures that the oldest of paper applications are processed while also allowing the move towards online services. Service delivery and processing times may vary depending on the complexity of each individual case.

The pandemic has had a considerable impact on overall processing times and they may vary from location to location depending on local inventories. IRCC is closely monitoring processing times and is working towards decreasing them as quickly as possible

Any 2019 applicants received an oath invite ? my Pr card is expiring, not sure what to do wait or get it reniewd

We finally received an update for Oath today. However, the fun never ends, so while Oath status is updated today (Nov 09) its is showing Oath scheduled date in the past (Oct 26) - anyone else experienced this?

I have emailed them already. Tried calling them but irrespective of what we choose in the call tree, it ends at "Please call us again later".

What else can we do? Anyone with past experience on this?

My ceremony was online, not in person. Seat number is no longer being used. You are assigned a room number at the beginning of the ceremony.

We received this morning exactly the same update with an Oath scheduled for October 26, 2021. … I tried calling but it was impossible to reach any agent..

I am hoping it’s a glitch and they meant November 26… waiting for the Oath email

OMG, this is so bad. How can they do this?

I also sent them emails and submitted a WebForm as well. Phone option didn’t work for me either. Let’s hope they fix it soon. We are at the end of our rope at this moment.

IRCC workers think of themselves as no lesser than Gods of the modern world.

They’re apparently not answerable to anyone. Not sure how is a government department left to run in such an arbitrary irresponsible irregular manner.

We, the applicants, need to make ourselves heard more and more loudly. Perhaps then they may listen to us.

i found another person on Facebook who got a similar update (Oath scheduled date in the past) from the same Famed Mississauga office.

did you try to contact them and got any answers or explanations?
