Wow, thats actually true! A September applicant family of 3 got a test invite before folks from Jan. Is a lottery system of some kind being used here?
What is going in Mississauga office. I wrote to them last week and they said currently they are sending test invites for December 2019. How come suddenly they jumped to September 2020. Even though I know their statement for December 2019 was not correct as few people from March and May already received their test invites but suddenly jumping to Sep 2020 is beyond any rational.

Mississauga office is sleeping again. We have a family application, wrote our test on April 05 and no update since.
I am guessing Single Applications are moving faster than family ones.

IRCC has its own algorithms though and looks like officers randomly process the applications in whatever order they deem fit. Its so frustrating!!

I am living in Hamilton sept 2020 applicant but as per today call to IRCC they said my file is in Mississauga. And all other answer's they give are generic.
my BG status in account is completed on MAR 09 but when i ask from agent she says it still in progress.

They never woke up basically. Very less people have taken the oath starting last one month. They're working so randomly that even they themselves can't predict what will happen next. Called them and the agent had no idea when or what will happen, still giving that same pandemic delay reason. I think the Scarborough office is doing way better but dont know why mississauga office is not working at all.

Guys heads up. Looks like someone just got an in-person test.

Look at this post. There is no test window and the words "online test" is not seen on their status update. They've given the applicant a single date (June 7) to attend the test. The OP still hasn't received an email.

We're still NOT SURE if this is an in-person test but be sure to check that thread when the OP responds once s/he receives the test invitation in the email.

UPDATE: This could just be IRCC modifying the process to allow only 1 day for online tests instead of the 21 day window. We won't know until the OP gets back to us once s/he received an email invite.
