- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 17, 2017.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on November 16, 2017.
- We started processing your application on November 23, 2017
you sign it on the day or the day before but before your interview. it is up to you but I will just sign it before my interview. your concern now is just study and pass the test which is easy if you practice with what is availableHi All,
I have recently received invitation to appear for Citizenship Test on March 11, 2019 at Mississauga office.
I have following question regarding the "Prohibitions Form"
On which date can I sign it?
a. Date of Test (i.e. March 11, 2019).
b. A day before ((i.e. March 11, 2019).
c. Any date before March 11.
I would really appreciate if someone clarify my query.
Thanks in advance!
Have a nice day!
I am sorry you guys waited for so long and I have a friend who had done his test since dec 2017 he applied and till now not yet so please keep waiting. it will come to you and I hope you have all the patience in the world. You are not alone. I have exactly the same timeline
On the sheet, your test was on 5 Dec, was it rescheduled?Hi all,
We appeared the test today and both passed the test at mississauga office. The officer just checked the forms and asked general questions , he didn't asked for any original documents or passports for the family. He said everything was fine and next step is oath but didn't give any timeline.
For those waiting be patient ,it's coming soon.
By the time they will take some action over it they might no longer be MPs. When they come asking for ur vote next time tell them only that person will get votes who resolves ur issues like theseHello All Mississauga Citizenship Applicants,
Looking at the timelines, we can say that there is significant backlog compared to other Canadian regions.
Do you think it is a good idea to an contact our local MP and submit Paper Petitions requesting their help to improve timelines ?
Here is what I found online for the formal process for the same
