Hi All, So I am getting pretty anxious about not being called for my test yet at least, considering that I had submitted my application since Jan 2017. This is my timeline below

Good day all

I did my test in Mississauga today! Everything was organized with what looked like over 100 persons in attendance. The test was straight forward and I got 19/20.
The interview was simple.... the only thing they asked to see was PR card, Health card, Drivers License, confirmation of permanent resident sheet and passports. They did not check any other documents and did not even check stamps in the passports, he just matched it against my photocopy I submitted with my application. He then asked what I did for a living and then said he is waiving the rest of the interview.
He mentioned that he had no concerns with my application and did not have access to see the scheduling for Oath but is hoping I will get everything completed before end of March.
The officer was pleasant and I was very happy with the day overall.

I will keep you all updated once I get Oath invite.

Hey everyone. A new line appeared on my husband's ECAS today stating that they sent him a notice on Feb 21st to appear to take the oath on March 12th . Not sure if it will be in Scarborough or Mississauga; will keep you posted. Thanks again for all your support.

Which practice questions did you use to study for your test?

I read the citizenship booklet twice and just used a few online practice tests. That was good enough

Does every applicant in missisauga ofice gets a FP request ! . Can you advise what is the reason behind getting this FP. Seems it is delaying the process

I think the FP request is random and certainly not for everyone. I don't think it causes any delay in the processing.

We passed the test yesterday (23.02.2019) in Mississauga and Status changed to 'Decision Made' today. The officer mentioned that the Oath will be scheduled in about 4 weeks. Here's my timeline:

Location: Mississauga / Family (2)
App received - March 20th, 2018
AOR - Apr 16, 2018
In Process - June 18, 2018
FP Req - Sep 19, 2018 (only for me)
Test Invite (Mississauga Location) - Feb 11, 2019
Test Date - Feb 23, 2019

Best of luck everyone. The queue seems to be moving faster now and hopefully all Mississauga applications will be processed soon!

the forum hypothesis suggests... people who are getting FP request are getting test invites earlier than others.....No FP for me.. No test invite either... so... FP could be a blessing in some situations!!!

This forum is full of hypotheses. I'm just waiting for someone to claim that you get a test invite faster only if your first name has an even number of letters smaller than 14.

Received an invitation to attend the oath ceremony on the March 13 at 12.30 pm in Mississauga. Had my test on Feb 21 and the application was approved the same day. Good luck to the rest of the crew !
