Are these ghost updates visible in the new portal?
I know they were visible on the older portal.
May I ask is this the tracker (https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login) where you see the ghost updates?
Or is it the old application portal for visitor visa?
Hi, no way to expedite. I did applied, visa approved and they requested for my passport and I submitted the passport; then they asked for my military record and sent me the form and I completed and uploaded it and its about six months now they just went quiet.

I did applied for a visitors visa and it was approved after four weeks and they requested for my passport to stamp the visa and I did mailed the passport via DHL to the visa application center and the embassy confirmed that my passport has been received. Two days later they sent me a form to complete military service record which I did the next day as I had all the information handy; but it's about six months now I haven't heard from them.
What are your thoughts?

I think the october 4th ghost update was a system update because a lot of people got it. I have an update on tracker after this date for 24th of oct in both visit visa and pr application but in the overview it's 5th of october. Nothing changed on the GCkey account
