Military record for visitor visa

I guess I'll add to this thread as well. This process is very frustrating and disheartening. My parents submitted their Supervisa application in Aug 2022. My dad retired from the military service almost 23 years ago. Anyways IRCC requested military service records in Jan 2023 and we submitted it within a week. We've been waiting since and no updates whatsoever. I have requested GCMS notes twice and it still shows under processing without any updates. Desperate for any information, I even reached out to the MP in my area and all they got back from IRCC was the same information and said there is no ETA for "special security screening" and there is no way to expedite it. I have lost hope and not sure what I can do to get any more info from IRCC. Anyone else struggling with this and have tried any other avenue?

Anyone still waiting to hear back on Parents app? Mine is dated March 7 2023- Additional docs sent in on June 2nd 2023 and in review since then.

I have also tried the same channels as you did and still kind of in a same situation as you are. Its frustrating and we don't know from where we could get any further information about our parents files. Does anyone know that from where does IRCC seek background verifications. There could be some respective defence HQ in India who are not providing any response to IRCC's applicant background verification request.
