Reg the police certificate, you can get it anytime after applying to the CIO. If you are getting it before applying to the CIO, then it should not be more than 3 months before you apply.. I hope I am clear.
 
Kris32, when you say category 2, you mean you have an arranged employment offer from an employer in Canada? In that case, I believe they would prioritize the processing of your application.

Sorry, I think its category 3 (>= 1 year canadian employment). I doubt if they give any particular preference to people with arranged employment. I got the PC two months before applying to CIO, so it should be OK, right! The toll free number is 1-888-242-2100. Thanks!
 
my appln sent on 6th July.received AOR on 2nd Sept.
 
of course they should give preference for people with arranged employment. And yes, your PCC should be fine.
 
Any updates, on anyone filed their application in the month of July 09. I filed mine on 23 July received by CIC on 24 July and AOR dated 28 July 09. Any idea when to expect for Medicals, PPR, Fees etc.

my status is changed to in process since 13 oct 09. But till date have not recieved my meds, ppt request etc. Anybody any idea how long can it take.
